The Cat's Meow it's really high compared to the pup's barks, but there's a way to make it less loud. Open the fur a little bit under his neck and put some cotton or sponge on his chest. The speaker is located there. You don't need to glue the fur again, but if you want use superglue to glue the fur again 😌
I have a guess about both of these meows and what the manufacturer might have intended. One, the mournful meow is probably the cat trying to get attention or else it is serving as a battery indicator. Something like! Yo! I am still on.“ Two, the sighing creepy haf- human meow is more of a “I am ignoring you and I’m going to sleep now.” My guess is after a while, the pattern just restarts so she wakes up and gives the battery indicator sound again, and then decides since you’re not coming back that she’s going to go to sleep. I don’t know why they just didn’t have her power down and reawaken through the stimulation of the light sensor, but you have to remember. The joy for all cat was the first of these consumer level therapeutic robots that has Bro/ageless innovations made. They obviously improved things a little later with the freckle pup. The price also went up with the freckle pup. Anyway, that was just my two cents. I always turn off my robots when I’m not using them. I don’t know why, but it’s just something I do.
I hope they alter the programming & improve the cat like the pup in the future - but I’m not too confident that they will as the only new thing that I know of that Ageless Innovation has introduced was the new coat on the Freckled pup.
@@crazyrobotlady3391 Hmmmm, not really impressed with the styling on this one - looks like a standard kids toy with no attempt at making it realistic looking - plus didn’t Furreal make a ‘pawing’ kitten? Isn’t this just the same thing with different unimpressive fur? Not a fan of this one. I prefer the Moose toys kitten to this one - more realistic looking & can close it’s eyes.
@@thankstocalebchung1556 yeah. What I didn’t like is it still has the same meows as the adult cat. And the kid didn’t leave it alone long enough to see what its sleep behavior is like. I just thought I would show you that Hasbro did come out with another Joy for All Pet. I don’t know the age group for this one. Maybe they meant it for kids. I wasn’t aware of another pawing kitten made by Hesbro.
Another great video. You pointed out things that I never thought of. Hopefully the manufacturers will take your ideas and perhaps in the future will add or subtract. A moving tail would be ideal. For me personally the more movement this cat does the more life like it becomes. Yes your Charley and my boy Frazer are great. Very soft, very good in their movements. Of course, nothing compared to Moji, but still great. Thanks again Jude for another great and honest video.
I will be sharing your video with the rep at the manufacturer because I have had to get four cats for my mother because each one has been defective. The first one stopped working correctly 1 1/2 weeks after she got it for Christmas. Then she was given a loaner from the retirement home and that one’s head made that horrible clicking sound. Then I got her another one that stopped moving its head all together and would still meow but would not open its mouth. Now the fourth one has just arrived and it’s making that horrible sound with its head. It does not have the facial movements like your cat does with the eyebrows I am surprised you didn’t mention the fact that marmalades head makes that horrible clicking sound when it turns. It shouldn’t make that sound it sounds like the neck is broken and that’s creepy. One of the promotional videos does mention that it responds to light and motion but like you said that information I guess is not in the manual
I find the joyforall cats not really relaxing. The meow distresses me and in mute it is just weird. I also don't find the purr relaxing. Overall the cat just doesn't help me which is a shame. It could have been a nice therapy cat robot. I am thinking of buying the meowever robot. That sounds like it could be a more relaxing and useful experience. Again, I wish I could make qoobo purr so if you find any device that could make that happen please let me know.
There’s a really nice bird that’s been introduced recently. Just uplaoded a video on it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4zO5z7frBdQ.html
