I have a husband who isn't always kind, gentle, patient, or as loving as he should be. He is a believer (thank the Lord!), but he is not a perfect man. However, one way God has shown me His unconditional love and mercy through my chronic pain has definitely been through my husband. My husband can be very prideful and unwilling to apologize when he hurts me. He has a bad temper and that has been improving thanks to the Holy Spirit. To see what a beautiful caregiver he has been throughout my suffering and various flare-ups over the last 2 years is truly a miracle to behold. I am so glad I found this program today. Glory to God! I have so much to be thankful for and so much to be joyful over even in the midst of chronic pain. Thank you Jesus! Hallelujah!
I suffer with chronic nerve pain with no known cause. They can't find anything wrong. I have been struggling with chronic pain since 2008, and over the last 2 years has spread to my whole body. I have tried every medication, injections, diet changes and nothing touches the burning nerve pain. My faith has really taken a downturn and I sort of had given up asking God to help me and maybe even angry, and I have never felt so alone. I know he is the only one who can help me, but I am having trouble surrendering my pain and problems over to him.
It is a real shame that doctors are unaware of the mind-body connection and the extent to which stress and repressed emotions contribute to our chronic symptoms. You might want to look into the books and teachings of Dr. Howard Schubiner and Dr. David Clarke from the PPD Association🙏🏻
