If they kept it in the final version of the film, joy's death will be in the same level as mufasa's death from the original Lion King, Optimus Prime's death in the 1986 Transformers film,Bambi's Mom's death in Bambi,Caesar's death in War for the Planet of the Apes, and Tony Stark's death in Avengers: endgame since people cried over these scenes since we're so attached to those characters
Tbh I’d say it would be worse since the other Disney deaths weren’t that bad and the characters got over their loved ones deaths, in Inside Out it would be an extremely serious and devastating loss
What if she was killed off but somehow the other emotions bring her and the others back like it a reawaken of emotions that make her understand some emotions you just can’t live without
I don't know how they could work the movies without joy in them. She's an emotion. That's a big part of you. Basically, killing off her would be killing off a part of Riley. Which I don't even know how that would work
“I need to stay calm And I can’t lose my head If I don’t keep my cool I might end up abstracted I don’t know my name But I’m stuck in this game So for now all I can do is say”
"Welcome to our digitally Whimsical eternal parade Where we've got Infinite adventures So we don't go insane Try not lose my mind Until I find A way to escape. I'll be here Day after day after day after day after..."
what i know about human psychology in general, there is some cases where people got deppresion or ADHD during teenage phase, so this concept (Joy are dying or something) probably refers to those cases, i think. So i agree with this idea & probably the team could use this idea for the next Inside Out movie. Just my 2cents idea =)
whattt? Were they going to make Joy die and then revive her? I would have been crying more than I did when the movie came out. I can't imagine happiness being dead. wow, this is how it happens a bit in my head and it makes sense that it is due to the actions of Anxiety that Sef-Loathing arises (well, Anxiety and Self-loathing have been the villains in my life). 1:20 ohh
All these comments are missing the point. Joy was NEVER planned to be killed of, at least not permanently. The plan was for Joy to fade away, and then come back and be alive at the end. I mean, just let's just think about the logic, shall we? Aside from the fact that permanently killing of the main protagonist would be horrifying, there would also be no narrative or metaphorical reason for the film to end with Joy being gone forever. At least not for a Pixar film, which always have happy endings. And what? how would "A teenage girl permanently looses her ability to feel happy again" be anything but a horrible ending?
Interesting. Good video. I know this is the third time I've asked this. But what was the music used in your Cars 3 deleted scenes video? And also, where did you find out about the deleted gag of disguises for Cars 3?
Hi there, sorry for the delay in checking, the music is "Cologne 1983" which was available on the YT Creator library at the time of making the video. The details about the gag I found here www.cinemablend.com/news/1651520/the-bizarre-nascar-easter-egg-youll-see-in-cars-3
This is so sad,I would of dislike this to be honest, but whenever the final came and on the ending where before saddest said" Riley wants you joy" I thought for a moment joy was fading But then again it would have been interesting to know why joy is the only one glowing
@@infaredxkingz8786 It could make an interesting story for Inside Out 3. An adult Riley going through depression could make for a great story for sure.
