In this video, we explore the unique type of joy to which God’s people are called. It’s more than happy mood, but rather a choice to trust that God will fulfill his promises. #Advent #Joy #BibleProject

I was homeless and I felt Gods presence, I wasn't angry with God but I was angry at my church for turning their back on me when I needed them most, but I did feel joy, in that God was providing for me by keeping me alive and my stomach full, and He got me through it...
Our joy doesn't come from TV shows, food, family or anything else in this world. Eternal joy comes from trusting Jesus, knowing that our sadness is NEVER the final word
My name is Joy but I really needed to hear this. Sometimes I forget my own name lol. I mean I forget what it means to have Joy. I'm asking God to continually show it to me. Thank you for the video!
I define biblical ‘hope’ as the confident expectation of a good outcome… I have adopted the theological definition of ‘joy’ offered by Dr. Michael Heiser as a divinely inspired optimism for the future…
Thank you for this! My name is Joy. It was prophesied that my name would be so before I was born. But a lot of my life has been spent in what we now call 'toxic positivity'; I believed falsely that I had to always be happy and smiling because that's what everyone always noticed & praised about me and I was afraid to be anything else for fear of judgement. I'm finally now as an adult starting to unpack and unlearn lies about what it means to be joyful, and trying to learn how to be authentic with people. This video was a major encouragement, so thank you 💗
