That Marshmallow textured cream is exactly what I got out of this cigar. I have found it's generally associated with corojo tobacco which this cigar obviously uses. Awesome review Tim.
I liked your review so much that I bought a box. I like these so much that I can hardly wait to buy another. So much flavor, such a bargain, love the long ash. I really believe they are under priced, but don't tell anyone.
I wish I could get those flavors out on my palate. I get the lighter pepper then heavier etc but the sweet and cream or marshmallow ...no. Hearing you discuss makes it seem delicious lol. I enjoyed the Joya Red but less complex enjoyment.
Great review! Got a question from a beginner, does that longer ash make the smoke cooler since it has to filter through the ash to get to the burning tobacco?
Actually, yes. You should not "tap off" the ash. It should just fall naturally. Now, I know that's not always possible and I have the burn marks in some pants and shirt to prove it. But, that's the way it should be done.
