Honestly, you’re so right. In fact, so many people wouldn’t be alive rn if Joyce wasn’t so determined as a mother and a partner and a person in general. She has never given up, whether it’s been concerning will, hopper, or even el. She’s been so persistent throughout this series and, to some extent, it’s really kept the series moving and sparked so much hope. She is such a great character!
At the end when Joyce and el reunite you can see hopper in the background smiling it looks like their family’s all get along well they would make a great family
I believe hopper liked Joyce since season one the way they act I just think they don’t show it very much they do have a past together that’s confirmed and skipping class to smoke has been confirmed but also it’s been suggested that they dated or hooked up in high school also in season one episode two one of the other cops hinted they hooked up in highschool also she’s been through some crap cause each season is around a year a part in stranger things she had two of the people she loved die in year and half or so she thought
