The fact that Lysa interjected too much of her opinions about the possibility of David feeling rejected from Jesse to him wanting to kill Abigail’s husband and all men to be too far reaching. It’s great to interpret God’s Word to make it relatable but I don’t think we should add it. Inferring is one thing but interjecting what wasn’t said to support a narrative is not biblical
I hear you, yet I also fully relate to Lysa. She was sharing how God spoke to her through the story. When she read it that is what she saw. That’s how storytellers tell Bible stories. It’s also why it is important for us to read the Word for ourselves and not rely on someone else’s interpretation of it. It’s okay for her to tell the story the way she read it. Go read it and see how God speaks to you through it too. ❤️❤️
