Note: Doesn't support android 4.4.4 kitkat, just for lollipop version Download latest update firmware from your computer, then put the upgrade file(MCU and update) from SD card or USB driver without any folder. Put the Sd card into GPS maps card slot or USB cable. then go settings, choose the about device and update system.
Or get android 5.1.1 system recovery, long press the power button(about 5 seconds), when the button light change color,please loosen,
then short press again within 1-2 seconds to get the update interface. then choose the update from SD card or USB and clear all.

where can I download the update? 1. Download update 2. Load on to SD card 3. Insert into GPS map slot 4. then go to system update And then the system will update? Is this correct? Please type out the steps in the description of the video or somewhere. I need to update from KitKat. I have the unit on the left in the video shown above.

+GoVicarious If you have JOying lollipop head unit please check this page www.carjoying.com/Joying-blog/42.html yes, it is correct. If your car head unit is kitkat, it doesn't can support update frimware need to update hardware and software.

+Boy ka .........Ok Thanks. I will not update. My unit seems to function fine, other than the buttons will not stay lit up after I select the color from the menu(element)

GoVicarious Yes, because the LLU wire do not connect it.

I have the unit on the left. Sorry i need to ask you here, but i'm hoping it is better for you then asking you on ebay, since ebay could assume i am not happy with the deivce, which really is not the case. I am happy with it. However i didn't manage to get OBD2 (aka tourque) working... It works on my phone no probklem with the car. but as soon as i try it on the radio, it says that no OBD2 Adapter could be found. It also doesn't ask me for a pincode when i pair it with the device, it just sais "connected" immidiatly... Also i can't disconnect it afterwards, even after i reboot the radio... Am i doing something wrong? how can i get OBD2 to work? Got everything else working otherwise!

Boy ka OH, and BTW, i have one last problem, and that is that the unit reboots when i press the "performance" (or is it speed?) button (the rocket button). After the reboot the buttons on the side don't work anymore until the next full reboot... is there already a fix for this very minor problem?

muh1h1 no, the speed button for clear memory. I will give a firmware to update your head unit will be ok.

I'm having the same problem. I ordered one from Amazon, works fine from phone, connects to Joying head unit but doesn't work with any of the apps. Sorry to tell you that we haven't released the android 7.0 version yet. And the android 4.4 car radio can not support to update to android 7.0

You have to adjust the volume from your subwoofer.
