I think I see sometimes the level of stress people are going through and they're just doing what they're doing to pay bills most of the time if I had to guess - it's especially the case for the generation just out of college so by default they just got landed with a level of debt that could buy a house and keep them going for a year or so in a different country - enough time to land on your feet and get established career wise - instead they're struggling working 2 /3 jobs sometimes just to get by in the 'prosperous west' - its becoming clearer all the time that this be just an idea now and not reality like it was when it brought people to chase the 'dream' - that wealth stability and prosperity that so-called western societies were founded on has been eroded so badly over time, people that pay traffickers their whole savings to get here must be in for a shock when they basically in the same poverty as before except now they got so many expenses they trapped in debt and just as poor - arguably even worse - they been sold a dream but really sold down the river How can there be so much poverty in 'wealthy' countries yet the money stays in the hands of an ever-decreasing circle of people - These politicians of today evidently, be bleeding the countries they supposed to 'represent' dry, as is the custom of authoritarian dictatorial regimes across the world except the media that serves them and the interests of their fellow circle of buddies bound by their main commitment to thievery defrauding and deceiving the public in charge that we sadly have at the current time wants us to believe it's only there that it happens, in far away places, definitely not anywhere like here - the only difference is they hide it better cos poor is poor it's undeniable that here is poor (for most folks) and there is poor and the lies they use to distract you from that are still lies whether its state media in some faraway land or right here on your doorstep - corruption has never been so rampant and they don't even try to pretend they care about the values they supposedly are there to uphold anymore

Here's the thing: there are artists who use autotune to smooth out an actually good melody, especially when their singing voices aren't smooth enough for it. Then you have others who overuse autotune to the point it doesn't sound good as a melody. I'm not against autotune in singing, I'm just against it when it's used to mask a terrible melody.

YOUR FAVORITE ARTIST USES AUTOTUNE IF THEY SING IN THE STUDIO.... PERIOD, but to go to the level of someone such as Lil Wayne used to, Lil Tjay, Post Malone and allotof new artist is sometimes unnecessary i agree. There will never be a time where autotune isn't implemented into a studio song if someone is singing. Patrick cc did an amazing video covering the subject. There is nothing that autotune does ON A CONSTRUCTIVE level that changes someone's "real" voice. It should be used as an edge cleaner and a tool to smoothen and clean up a melody. ( btw absolutely no hate here. I appreciate all sides of a debate
