How do you Rate The Bars? Hopsin - Witch Doctor Method Man - Wu Tang Forever MC Jin - Who Shot Ya Freestyle Joyner Lucas - Sriracha Mysonne - I’m Not Racist (remix) Mystikal - Original Plies - Ran Off On The Plug Twice Quavo - Huncho Dreams John Cena - The Time Is Now Logic - Sriracha
Joyner is I'll but hopsin is my favorite rapper next to gza ... and like I said joyner is I'll but wtf drugs is he on in this video I say that cause it's common sense what hopsin meant in that first verse .. joyner has a high vocab and suddenly he doesn't know what a goose bump is ... I'm sorry but wtf
@@The3500 Cena's certified plat now. But still, I think they took the worst bars from "The Time is Now." Hell, there's better bars from Cena peppered all over his album
-Lio- For real! Even though they beefing, he still respects the lyricism. Imagine him giving that a 1 or 2? You can’t trust him after something like that.
logic deffs got hate for his verse on that song tho he came in weak although I’d say Joyner knows it was still a good bar even tho him and tech9ine thought it was weak
I don’t think it was sarcastic. Logic has cadence down to a science. Just like Joyner. They’re two of a kind. Their beef is more personal. I like how he handled it though.
Bruh, he was not being sarcastic to logic shit, he was just laughing at the fact they put a logic verse in there knowing that they hav beef, you can clearly see him giving him respect and even repeating his rhymes, y’all just want to start some shit...
I respect joyner for 3 different things. 1 he is a true lyricist... 2 he didn't rate his own song when most guys give themselves a 5... and 3 even though he had beef with logic he still gave him credit where credits due
When people think Joyner finally got over the Logic beef because he gave him acknowledgment on his bar on Siracha are completely oblivious to the real problem he has with Logic. Joyner always said Logic can flow hard, he just felt robbed when he seemingly took a heartfelt project he had underworks to copy and not credit and shit.
@@randomuruk7230 thats true. we're all just overly emotional beings, even famous people. neither in the wrong imo. lets move on, its old beef. joyner seems over it, logic never cared
@@skyewest1510 I feel liek if 1 800 hadnt gotten so big he wouldn't have been that upset, regardless he made his own song, getting mad that he used a phone number is weird. Even thought Joyner's suicide song was wayyy better.
Robert Byrd Dude cmon you guys are smarter than that, he knows what goosebumps are, goosebumpin simply isn’t an actual word. That’s why he said that, he was being petty.
Pretty sure he knows what goosebumps are but was just thrown off by that turn of phrase. I’ve personally never heard it before and was kind of thrown off by it as well as I don’t tend to associate goosebumps with the meaning he was trying to imply there. Even when I think of someone getting goosebumps because they’re afraid, it’s not ever in the context of some type of beef or altercation or because they feel intimidated by someone. Usually I think of someone getting goosebumps from A) being cold B) Amazement C) being spooked out by some supernatural occurrence or being somewhere where something supernatural allegedly occurred. Like a haunted house.
@@nigelgee4469 Nikka I'm afro-latino born in 3rd ward of houston Texas. Just cause you got lingo or you talk a certain way doesn't mean you have lyrical skills. Gtfoh with that bullshit. It's black people like you that make it hard for the rest of us. Always wanting to bring race into shit.
@@nigelgee4469 that trash ass lingo come on bro and I'm black but I guess it's a south thing besides what lingo them niggas be having songs full of adlibs that louder than the lyrics
He has some decent songs and an alright flow. His cousin Thradmarc is definitely the better rapper. That album of his was all him being the name but his cousin carrying the rapping lol
Look at the lyrics as well its not goosebumps. Hopsin even seperated "goose" from "bumpin" coz it was another bar with a double meaning, he just using wordplay.
if listening to an artists other songs that barely have a thing to do with the song in question greatly increases the quality of the song in question then please inform me.
It's not that it's beneath him, it's that Eminem's going to get bashed no matter what he rates any bar by half of the people who watch. It's not worth it for him. He just wants to make music and let everyone else talk. :p
too much hate for em drake and kanye now, the internet are some under 18 dumbass kids jump on the hate train, even kendrick's fart people will smell it like perfume, he is dope tho
@@SS-mj9fz Drake and Eminem are getting too much hate? The only people hating on Drake are people still on the Pusha vs Drake beef. Other than that, the dude is still untouchable perception wise. Eminem is getting way less hate currently than he was after Revival dropped. Only person I agree with is Kanye, who has definitely earned a lot of the hate he is getting.
@A Donkey let's be honest tho eminem is the reason that song has that many views but I do wish Joyner does get big as an artist cuz people are missing out.
I was surprised at his reaction to logic's bars. Always been a fan of both and didnt let the so called "beef" bother me. Would be dope to see them do another track together.
Back when John cena first got into wwe, every time he came out the back to go to the ring, he would rap all the way down the walkway, drop the mic and start whooping shit
Eminem is not for the culture. He just fucks the game for the money, insults black rappers all day, never hear of him giving back or making free music. And he's still bitter, and thinks he's too good for everything. White folk just eat him up
0:30 when someone gets goos bumps it usually means they get scared, he added goose bumping as a way to describe the person like being intoxicatedly scared
I love Joyner, but some things I hope he does is remove the grills - it ain't him (but it's all fine if he removes them in the studios to record his music) - and go a lot harder, he's blowing up now and trying to eliminate the beef, but I think what Joyner Lucas needs the most right now is BEEF, as in some hard rolling shit was someone big so he can destroy them lyrically, stand his ground, and look tough. Tupac, Eminem, Nas, Ice Cube, 50, and all these others had huge beef that carved them, Joyner needs some too.
Lol so wtf the grills got to do with anything? That's like saying u hope he changes the type of shoes he wears,he's just doing what he wants it's his choice... but the most important aspect (his music) won't change cause of it.
Lee Casteel fair point. And he actually _does_ sound a bit different with it. Compare his other tracks to his newest I Love, there is a sound difference which a bunch of other people picked up on. But I think Joyner is one, if not _the_ best rapper of this generation, other than Kendrick Lamar who is leading for potential GOAT title in another decade maybe. His songs are still fire, the grills are a kind of mumble type thing like 6ix9ine or the other ones wearing them. It looks stupid, but Joyner wearing them and still spitting better than them. Point simple, the grill thing was a petty thing, if he wants to keep em, go for it, which I said, but I hope he removes them in the studio so we can his unfiltered and clear cut voice to his music without the grill hindering him. Still backing him all the way
@@aegistro tbh that record "I love" was his debut song for his label so I'm sure they wanted something that sounded kinda "mainstream"...but it still had bars so I thought it was good
@@flyone3918 all hard is metal is guilty of is just being a cliche line but at the same time, it makes sense and it can also be a double entendre cause metal, the element, is hard, and Metal, the music genre is generally viewed as hard, and if you word it cleverly, it can be used as a triple entendre with medal. It's complicated but it matters a bunch.
never knew much about Joyner till I heard him live as an opener at a concert. dude is so unbelievably skilled its incredible. I've never seen anyone rap as good in a live performance other than j cole
Xavier Flavor he laughed when he read it because of how trash it is and pretended to try to read it basically saying its not even structured with good delivery or flow🤷♂️
MadManMemes Remove your head from this man’s ass, as if you know him so well that you know what he was laughing at, for all you know he was laughing at the editors for even picking that lyric for him to rate, seems the most likely explanation
this dude acting like logic wasn't on tour, wasn't doing interviews 24/7, wasn't constantly working on music, didn't have the most intense panic attacks, wasn't working on his youtube channel, etc... did he ever think that could be the reason why the verse was late? oh and by the way, sorry Bobby didn't record a better verse while in the hospital. because we love a fast flow after an anxiety attack... 🙄 also, it's not like joyner invented phone numbers. plus logic's mentioned before that he's a fan of joyner. and you know what happens when we're a fan of someone? we get inspired by them. isn't that what joyner wanted? to inspire people? well, he got it. there's absolutely NOTHING to be pissed about. seems like joyner wanted to become relevant. and when we want to be relevant, we turn into clout chasers. that's what he has become :)
the "beef" is over but the funny thing is that when it was going on joyner was the only one pushing for a beef, logic didn't even give two shits xD he just looked desperate for attention.
@@noirfifa2897 I think he was more bothered by the fact that logic took the idea of putting the phone number as a song title like Joyner did with his album
a few bars vs a whole verse. you can like bars in a verse but hate the whole verse you know. personally i find logic's sirracha verse weak asf, but i like blowing their mind like kennedy and the last few bars that joyner rated. dont be so blinded by hate that you miss actual good things even in things you dont like
@Bob The Builder No. A fake fan would say it was "trash". You can say it's not his best verse. But to say it's trash when it was a freestyle that he did off the top when he was on tour? Nah.
Could also chug juice when ya scared, with the grey goose, gettin drunk.. bumpin shots.. goose bumpin, though agreeably more likely he's callin them scared, proceeding to say after that they drinkin to cope
Clearing up a few common misconceptions about the beef: 1)Logic did not steal any ideas from Joyner. Logic already had his song recorded and they happened to be released close to the same time. 2)Logic was working on an album at the time and Tech asked him if he wanted a verse on sriracha. Logic said he would get him the verse, but due to album work he was delayed six months. He also had a "weaker" verse than normal due to all his "good" verses being used on his album. IMO Joyner was angry not just because the verse was weak because it took too long, but because of a mix of those two factors. I like both artists equally and listen to both regularly. No hate to anyone. Thank you for reading. Ok.......................you can stop reading.
Levi Woodall 1) logic manager stole idea (rumor has it logics managers steals concept from other artists) 2) Joyner and logic manager knew each other and wanted a collab between them both however Logic said he didn’t want to work with new people( logic knew who Joyner because he heard the siracha track before) 3) on a tech 9 song you have to rap fast on his track no excuses if your a logic fan that’s cool but give more details it ain’t simple( logic gained so much gross from the song so ain’t no point to Joyner, Joyner beautifully displayed poetry, emotions of an suicidal mind, and someone losing a loved one)
@@vision9421 I heard someone say something like that about Logics manager, but didn't know if it was true or not. Thanks for elaborating more without coming at me in hateful way. Like I said both a Logic fan and Joyner(although a little more biased to Logic as I was there since the first Young Sinatra.)
Tom Garcia I doubt the manager thing is real honestly if you know his manager it seems off that he would be be with Lucas in the first place I think if the song never blew up it wouldn’t have mattered anyway only Lucas stans say these theory’s to some how cope with his relevance in the rap world
Idk what goose bumping is... i swear man, I love joyner, but he is so competitive when it comes to this shit, can never give credit where it’s due, he knew damn well that shit was fire.
What Hopsin meant by Goose bumpin' is like when you find that song that gives you chills/goosebumps and you can't stop bumping that shit. He is telling his fans/listeners that this song got you goose bumpin'.
Actually Jin was nasty but he's not the only Asian rapper..there's a few Korean rappers that can throw down and some been in the game 10+ years ..but in the US Jin was the only Asian representative of hip hop...I'm hoping that the rap line of BTS will change that tho since they're blowing up over here
@@Tyorli Korean boybands are not the only Korean artist's and Imo you know nothing of the scene to even say such a thing.. the Korean scene is very versatile and can out perform and outstage many US artists plus the music videos and lyrics speak for themselves as artists..they have messages and tell stories in rap fashion, some also venture into R&B like RM,Yoon Mirae and Jay Park so don't talk what you don't know K
