As a father of 3 babies and I never grew up with a father around or with any financial support with only my momma working. I tend to push to work all day holding down 2 jobs to get them every I didn’t have growing up but I’m realizing that I’m taking away from my kids time in the process and trying to find that balance is tough! Definitely an emotional video and unfortunately I think this is an accurate video that might describe my step kids feelings with their father and maybe them keeping me at arms distance as a stepdad because I’m not their dad. That part always hurts because I want to be there for them but this song puts a different perspective on it.
