Good to see both my PRS and the new little practice amp put to work. The joy of the amp for me is it gives me a whole lot of effects, a drum machine and a looper all in a small package. Goodbye Spark and goodbye Vox. Music room is already much tidier. This set up is just fine for my present level of inability. Thank you John as ever. Look forward to the 408 review birds and all.
Interesting Joyo DC15S demo. Thanks to Michael for the gear, nice to see the PRS Core 408. The Joyo is pricey at $310CAD in Canada. Comparable is the VOX Mini GO 10 with drums and looper at $350CAD with 6.5" speaker.
Hi John, enjoyed your demo, a little Santana inspired I think, nice! Amp sounds like a great practicing tool, even for oldies like me! A few years ago this would have cost quite a bit more! All the best and keep posting, very enjoyable and informative! Stephen from Scotland
Right, you’ve wobbled me! I was all set to lash out for the vox mini super beetle, but I’ve just watched your excellent review on the Joyo, 😐 what’s your take on my dilemma?
Hello Big Fella, another great show, a touch of the Santana going on there . Very informative video and by all accounts not a bad amp for the money , imagine how much it would have cost to do that in 83 . Not that you could have done that in those days without a call to Pete Cornish & a second mortgage !!! . PEACE and LOVE to everyone.
I often just plug the Joyo American into the PA system in my living room,(has to get stored somewhere), fantastic Fender Amp simulator for 30 quid, they make good Gear.
I have the more basic on Joyo DC-15. Good fun, but probably no use for gigging. Would be good if you could do some strumming exercises with the drum machine.
It’s a tricky decision, this type of amp. For example, I only use my Spark at 10% of its capabilities but the speakers are great for music playback. My Blackstar ID Core BEAM Is a great little amp but a poor music playback device. This Joyo might just be the solution 😊🤔🤔🤔🤔
