Awesome demo and review, hero 😎🤘🏻🎸 and yes this pedal is joyo’s take on of the darkglass b3k microtubes. Still it’s a great bass overdrive pedal for the price.

For me, the sound and overall tonal quality of the pedal are secondary to the graphics and lighting/ground effects. It's like a mash-up of K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider and the Light Cycles from TRON. Also, those faux chrome plastic knobs have gotta go.

It’s a great option. I really like it. To me it sound like a darkglass but with a few changes here and there. And the price is awesome. Great budget pedal with an incredible sound.

@torgomax I’ve seen a few and I tried some but I don’t think they are for me… yet. The effects I like and use the most are Drive and Octave, and I haven’t hear yet, any multi effects unit that can deliver a good tone for both. I am open to suggestions, though.

Can anyone else confirm if they are getting a delay when turning the overdrive on? It isn't instant so hard to change in time with the music

My pedal works fine. No delay on mine. Will double check my board later on. It always did that or it just started doing it? 🤔

@@herobass I've just got it. If you press it to activate it it is very slightly delayed so hard to time it accurately if you are playing to a song or live. Turning it off is instant like you'd expect. I have seen one other comment saying the same but would be great to know if you have the same so that I can tell if it's a fault or not

@adamnicholson1839 my pedal works fine. The only difference with mine is that I have it always on because I use it with a switcher… but other than that, it works good. Maybe you got a faulty unite. Hope it gets solved soon. Thanks for the support.

It should sound great. I have very little experience with the sansamp, but I know they are great. Also. the Double Thruster is a great pedal.

@torgomax If you are asking from this video in terms of gear, am just using my bass to the JoYo Double Thruster into my interface. Thats all the tone here. Now in terms of me playing live or recording other projects, I really like to record the bass tracks double, one with drive and a clean signal and blend them together in the mix. This is call recording in parallel, parallel signal or parallel processing. Basically mixing 2 signals or tracks of the same source and mixing them according. Hope this helps. @torgomax nop. I try to go with drive pedals that are made for Bass just because of the low end content. Typically the good drive pedals for bass have a dry blend knob and are tailored for low frequencies. But I wouldn’t be against giving it a try… jajaja
