Joyo Multimode II, Wah Wah and Volume Pedal review and demo.
This video will be a demonstration and review of the Joyo Wah wah/Volume Pedal. I use this predominately as a volume pedal to create swells with mostly clean tones with reverb, but I do use this along side my main Vox Wah Wah Pedal.
I will start by demonstrating the pedal as a volume pedal, where I do swells, and try and simulate stringed/bowed instruments such as a violin or cello.
After this we focus on a bluesy overdriven sound, using the Wah Wah side of the pedal with a riff that I have written to be used with the Wah. The final demonstration will be with a heavier distorted tone, focussing on lead.
Everything except for the main part of my wah wah riff is improvised.

Cheers for showing this it made me realise how this works plus has made me realise this is the way pedal for me cheers or perhaps the wah pedal I will be buying!! PS could I Ask what chords you were playing with the volume part you were showing? It sounded really beautiful to me or sounded like something I would like to try or replicate cheers

Great video and demo! Only feedback id give is that it would be helpful if the number setting remained on the lick you're demoing because 6 is quite a bit of settings to notice the slight distinctions although they are there and I would forget which one I preferred and if it was the same one on the following lick. Liked and subscribed!

Sounds like the volume swell comes up fast. Is there a way to adjust the volume taper?

It's just the way I played it. I don't have my amp volume up too loud which causes the swells to die off quicker, so I have to play them quicker to get the sound I want. I could do my swells slower if I turned up my amp volume.

I've had this pedal for 2 years now. Every time I take it out I'm hoping that I missed something because it's been a huge disappointment overall. The wah doesn't do anything; it's literally less effective at controlling frequency than my telecaster's tone knob, and there is no noticeable change with the different modes. The volume side also sucks, but I don't use volume pedals. If I did though, I wouldn't use this one because even with the min volume at zero, it's not completely quiet. I was hoping someone had a mod to make it work, but I couldn't find anything. At the end of the day, if you're considering buying this. DON'T!!

Strongly disagree. The volume function - which is my primary use of the pedal, is completely fine and does work well. I agree that the Wah Wah isn’t the best, but it’s not worst. Maybe you’ve got a faulty pedal?
