BlackSeaRC presents a fully detailed review of "Fox Hunter (B)", a highly detailed and scale realistic female action figure from the CrossFire (CF) series by JoyToy.
This pretty female soldier figure with law enforcement uniform is modelled in 1:18 scale and is based upon a character from the CrossFire online video game. As part of the same series, there are also other female characters available from JoyToy including "Fox Hunter (A)", "Zero" and "Kui".
The Fox Hunter figure is a premium grade collectible that features hand-painted details, realistic face, body with multi-point articulation, realistic moulded-plastic clothing and accessories.
If you are looking for a high quality scale realistic action figure for use in 1:18, 1:16 and 1:14 scale role-playing scenes, then this product deserves consideration. Fox Hunter is a great accompanyment to any scale garage or could be used as a RC driver/passenger character. She provides a level of realism that puts many mass-produced action figures to shame!
In this video, I am not only unboxing and reviewing this action figure in close-up detail but also showing her alongside a selection of interesting scale-realistic RC vehicles. This gives you a good idea of how she would look if utilised for this type of application. I also show Fox Hunter modelling in some stunning outdoor scenery so you can judge for yourself how realistic she can look.
JoyToy, or to give the company its full name, Bloomage JoyToy (Beijing) Technology Development Co., Ltd is a specialist Chinese manufacturer of premium grade action figures. Further information about JoyToy and their full range of products can be found here:

Great video! I use the lanard toys the corps figures and a great Robocop 1/18 from hiya toys for posing with my rastar cars

That is the Global Bros characters, right? Yes, they are a good fit too and they have an excellent range of articulation for a figure of this size (better even than the JoyToy figure). Sometimes it is difficult to find a figure that is like a real person. Often they are soldiers with lots of attachments on the outfits which makes them hard to pose in a sitting position. If the Rastar car has opening doors it is an advantage. It doesn't always work out though. Despite the scale difference, I couldn't get the 1:18 scale JoyToy figure to fit inside the 1:14 scale Rastar Ferrari FXX-K Evo. It did work with the G63 though. Another video I suggest for you is the Rastar Hummer EV. Both the JoyToy and Global Bros figures fit perfectly and match the scale very well. It is also a very nice car to drive as it has multi-mode 4-wheel steering. If you can find one (they are only just released), I think you would like it. Yes, she looks great with the scale vehicles and when she is posing outside with nature she looks even more amazing! By the way, for 1:12 and 1:10 scale applications I found a figure called VERYCOOL "Villa". You should take a look at the video of her on this channel because the scale realism and detail is at an even higher level!

Great to see you at BlackSeaRC! This figure is something just a little bit different, not the usual soldier type character. I searched quite a bit before I bought this one. The choice of realistic action figures in 1:18 scale seems to be quite limited.

This is the nicest 4 inch figure I’ve ever seen. I have 1/12 Joytoy figures. That are a great company

I have been thinking about getting another JoyToy figure. Have you seen the new JT7578 'Gilly' in 1:12 scale? Also, JoyToy Frontline Chaos Rabby in 1:12 looks interesting. I tend to buy figures that have an element of scale realism so that I can use them with my RC vehicles.

I also like the figures by VERYCOOL. I have the Villa figure in 1:12 scale because the clothing is super realistic. There is also a new figure VCF-3006 Cyberpunk Triky Baby but they are not so easy to find and are quite an investment.

@@BlackSeaRC I’ve considered buying Tricky Baby especially because she’d go well with my Fogtoys Cyberpunk Cyberboy but I saw reviews and she is beautiful but seems too small so I got Joytoy Lie the Mechanic to be his buddy and mechanic. I changed the head to Joytoy Deer. I do keep checking Gundamit to see if she is there because I’m still tempted to get her.

@@BlackSeaRC Gilly looks good she fits in the aesthetic you’re going for. I’m into a similar look. Rabby is very cute, she was on sale at Gundamit but I checked and the price is back up. Not as many people seem to have got her in there Frontline Choas collection because of being worried about the body suit getting stuck in joints and tearing. My freind has her, Frog, and Lie. Frog’s backpack falls apart easy but it’s a good figure too. Joytoy Frontline Choas girls sometimes have a weird elbow joint, it appears to be too big and slipping out. My Lie has that problem and a youtuber who collects the line had that problem not on Lie but on one the other ones. Just be aware of that. Finding realistic 1/12 figures is difficult. I’m amazed you found realistic 4 inch figures. For sure those must be painted under a magnifying glass.

@@TheFutureLooksGrimm I prefer figures that can look good in a general scene, so fairly normal clothes and not fantasy figures. For example, when I purchased the Imperial Guardian figure, I wanted it just for the base figure and the superb mini-dress outfit. All the accessories I just put to one side and didn't use. When she models with the dirt bike the result is fantastic! The Gilly figure would work well for me, I would just use her without the gun. The same for Rabby. I did see a few negative comments about the Rabby figure though. To me, the choice of outfits is critical to the overall look because, for example, on the Frontline Chaos Deer figure, the outfit really highlights the joints at the knee. The Frog character has long knee socks that hides this joint. The same applies to the JoyToy 1:18 figures. CrossFire Fox Hunter (B) better hides the joints much better than the Fox Hunter (A) figure or the Zero figure. Some other figures that I liked was the LimToys Elly and SharkToys Tifa Lockhart, both at 1:12.

Nice figure and nice video 😊. One question, does the product come in a sealed package or have stickers or a sealed plastic cover or bag that indicates is new?

Every scale realistic RC car deserves a proper driver, right? For 1:10 and 1:12 scale vehicles I have another interesting driver. Her name is "Villa" and to find out all about her, please check the videos on this channel, BlackSeaRC.

are there like male toys and also rastar cars are awesome
@BlackSeaRC
@BlackSeaRC 3 года назад
Yes, there is a wide range of male and female action figures of various scales available. However...finding a scale realistic figure that is worthy of use with a good RC vehicle or scale garage scene is much harder. Often they are just not realistic enough and the visible joints or painted clothing make them too "toy like". Additionally, the subject matter can be a bit limited. Many figures are either characters from fantasy films (e.g. superhero type), pro-wrestling (would you drive in wrestling trunks?) or military/soldier characters. I'm always looking out for realistic figures that are just "average" people but they are much harder to find. See my review of "VERYCOOL Villa" for my favourite action figure so far. Rastar RC cars have some of the best detailed and painted bodies on the market. They are great as a starter RC car or for use as a display model but once you get into the RC hobby, you will soon crave something with better performance that you can modify and upgrade.

I don't know but can you like put them on Rastar Rc cars ?
@BlackSeaRC
@BlackSeaRC 3 года назад
The G63 shown between 15:30 - 16:40 is by Rastar. As this figure is a bit larger than average it is closer to 1:16 than the manufacturer's quoted 1:18 scale. The figure is a little small to perfectly match the 1:14 scale Rastar when standing, but a nice fit when sitting. But beware, although the interiors are detailed they may not necessarily have the required leg room and if the model has open windows but not opening doors, it may still not be possible to fit this figure. For example, this figure will not fit into the cockpit of my Rastar Ferrari FXX-K Evo (1:14) even though the doors open.

Cool figure but that collar bone joint 😖😖
@BlackSeaRC
@BlackSeaRC 3 года назад
I know, it spoils the figure somewhat doesn't it? I'm not sure if they are all like that or if I got a particularly bad one. I know there is always a compromise between articulation and joint overlaps but in the case of this joint which is very visible, I think they should redesign it to slightly increase the joint overlaps. The head doesn't really need to articulate much anyway.
