I've just bought myself another copy of this movie as I only used to have it on vhs. Yet seems the DVD has different music. This track has been replaced plus others. 😕
It was on my VHS although just bought a new copy on DVD and is different music... Wondering if the very original had the best sound tracks... Perhaps further editions they replaced it due to copy right?
@ituned this is the track from the orginal. Patrick Armbruster from absinthe was forced to change the track after complaints from the Beatles' copywriters. If you have a copy of this movie with this track on it then you have a rare one.
@goodvibesallround the part was originally edited with the the beatles track, but absinthe could not afford or could not get the rights for the song so they had to change it to the sonic youth song. and who can hate on the beatles!!
@anstseth you're absolutely right. they couldnt get the rights so had to change it after distributing a few thousand copies. if you have the copy with this track on it you've got a serious keeper!
ah ok so the one i have was updated to comply with copyright? must have cost absitnthe a lot to reproduce it! just noticed its edited together differently as well
