A compilation of some jpop artists/idols who performed on korean music shows. These are arranged from the most recent to the oldest performances.
If I ever missed some groups/artists remember to comment down below.

I wish japan also tried to capture global audiences because they have so many amazing artists but most of them even don’t bother to put English subtitles for the people who don't understand Japanese that well.😭😭

They don't need to do that bc Japan has the second biggest music market industry, so these J-pop idols don't need to evolve since they can sell big in their own country.

Most kpop related shows have a big RU-vid presence where they provide full episodes of their programs with international subtitles so many can enjoy. I don’t see that with jpop programs, which I would really like to see. Jpop and and J-Dramas should really follow suit and provide such services to their fandoms because I see it as wasted untapped potential! I have to search fan sites to watch their shows.

ARASHI is quite famous in South Korea right? I still remember a talk show about ARASHI come to S.K (i dont remember what show), they displayed a huge crowd of S.K fans waiting for ARASHI on airport..

They were, until that situation that they made with BTS... I was a fan of them because of their variety shows, but after what they did, I was not able to have the same feelings I had for them anymore😔

Because of what they did, the fans in Korea as well as the Koreans who never knew of their existence started hating them. So you shut the fk up when you know nothing that is going on around here.

@@april7486 You know their words were twisted? Arashi never bad mouthed BTS. In fact MatsuJun said he LISTENS to BTS’ Dynamite. All he said was that his entertainment company has made boybands since the 60’s and the Japanese idol SYSTEM influenced the Korean idol SYSTEM and he wasn’t wrong. He never underestimated or badmouthed anyone. The interviewer shouldn’t asked them about BTS in the first place, when all they have in common is them being Asian. Gossip pages took this and ran with it and nationalists were happy. Now two innocent groups are pulled into this.

I don't know much about jpop and I've always underestimated the music style because I mostly hear from girl groups (in terms of jpop) which is on the cuter side. But it's really cool seeing jpop artists on Korean music shows. It's like showing each other's talents.

They have girl groups that aren't cutesy...you just gotta dig for them. Even the well known cutesy ones have non-cutesy songs like AKB48's "UZA".

I know this video is old but I really hope one day you make a Part 2, like an updated one with some of the newest Jpop groups to get invited like J01, Pyschic Fever, and I read that Be:First is gonna appear at the AAA in Japan this year along with The Rampage.

I know it's been over 3 years since this video came out but to ad onto it till the time this video was made also JO1, INI, NiziU and NIK performed on Korean TV. NIK did with 2 Korean version of their debut-release and JO1 once in Japanese and the other time in Korean. JO1 and INI also performed on Korean YT-channels. NIK performed their stuff in Korean on almost all music shows and even apeared on some radio shows. I'm not too familier with Niziu so I can't say much about them. I also don't know if XG ever performed on a Korean TV-show yet but people claim they had not since they only sing in English so far.

Chuning Candy was also in Show Champion last year. BananaLemon also had an apperance on Korean Music Shows also. I think it was Show Champion but I'm not sure.
