The passing of the torch brought tears to my eyes. I’m going to be 64 in June and my 30year old son has been riding since 6yrs old when we bought him a JR 50 After teaching him all I knew he took over the throttle of every bike I own including my 1972 xlch 1000 Harley that I bought when I was 25 yrs young. I am new to your channel, and I freaking love it. Last night I must have watched ten videos back to back. I could not believe how large those buildings are. When I saw the museum, I said to my son, this makes me proud to be an American. The risk that this brave entrepreneur is taking is tremendous. The stress that must come with that is scary. I could only imagine how much that mortgage must be, then I heard you say I need to sell 50 bikes a month to cover the mortgage. Now that I see this property, I think I can assume you are Superman. Good luck with everything. The third gear starts look amazing.

Love the property and the post and beam is beautiful. I used to build log cabins and post and beams for about 7 years. We built a cabin in the poconos that was done just like your house. The trees were cut and milled on site in the walk in basement and then we placed them. It was awesome. There's nothing like building a house like that. God willing one day i'll have a place like yours for my kids to ride and a big ol 500 2 smoker in the garage. For now I guess i'll have to stick with my 250 lol
Love all your videos, Ken. Seems like you and your boy have a great relationship too....great to see. I find myself watching your videos for hours on end. I too live on the east coast and riding isn't what it used to be. We used to walk our bikes on the street and nobody blinked an eye. Now there's almost nowhere to ride. Glad to see you guys have your own peice of paradise to do what you want!

i love the fact that you have solar panels at your house. im an installer myself, very cool technology and sustainable. also when you have them on the ground as opposed to your roof, you can generate a lot more electricity

I love thr way Jr is showing these young guys that you dont need a state of the art brandnew 450f to be competitive this guy is keeping the 2 stroke alive you need to be a propwr MAN to ride these old 500s i turned into a traitor 5mths ago and brought a crf250r and i hate to say it but its the best bike ive ever owned i think its to do with age as im 48 now..... If those graphics are true to the year that 500 is a 92. I have a bone stock original 90 and 93. Those 92's are by far my FAVORITE graphic scheme! Jr made the right move,i would've driven to the ends of the world for that bad boy! Rip it up...BRAAPPPP!!!!

Man that brings back memories, I bought a brand new kx 500 in 1992 for my birthday. Identical to that one. Rode and raced it for years in the California desert, district 37. I really miss it.

Holeshots on a 500 are probably the trickiest. You gotta have those RPMs up higher at take off, but risk flipping when she hooks up! That was fun to watch.

Holy shit, Billy Ainsworth.... Haven't heard that name for years. I went to school with him and his brother Nate. Used to ride with them sometimes, they had a cool track down off Hop River Rd or a little while, though I wanna say the town tried making their father close it. Man that's a blast from the past. He was a great rider. Believe last I seen him was at MotoTown USA in Windsor when it was still there.
I had a KX500 same year, used to rip it 80+mph in the ice on Coventry lake with just black sheet metal screws driven into the front tire. Cops used their speed gun, 82Mph.

Pretty cool looking, like something I saw in that Battleship alien invasion movie. How well does that setup handle extreme weather? Does snow and ice accumulate on the panels?.. Sorry about all the questions, I'm new to these videos.
Absolutely agree. I've seen so many videos of 500's being beaten by 450's in a drag race for the simple fact that 500's require technique + balls. But once you get it down, they decimate!

I would love to see some kx420 action i had one of the old team green bikes back in the day..my grandfather gave me when I was 12 he said if I can start it I can have it and he didn't no I had already started a few 85 cr500s so needless to say me and my mom put the bike in her Station wagon and I had a new toy to work on .I was almost 6foot 220 pound 12 year old so I could start them but that kick back would rip my Kmart shoe right off my foot .
