What a vibe !!! This year, Brussel Danst Dance Battle was centered around the concept of vibration.
In street dances, vibrations serve as a language, carrying around messages like 'where from' and 'what next'.
The energy vibrates through the music and the bodies of the cypher participants. In one big circle, a number of smaller circles form, bouncing off one another and amplifying the energy.
Vibrations also keep the culture alive over time. Cultural practitioners pass on knowledge to the next generation, guided by the principle of « each one teach one ».
