About 42 minutes in Kyle talks about Japan. I live in Japan. There was a recommendation that company’s close nonessential businesses, but there was never anything to enforce shutdowns. The government offered to cover 80% (if memory serves) of payroll if companies didn’t layoff people. The mask thing is true. It’s a health issue and wearing a mask is recommended, so people wear masks. I’d say compliance is 95% or higher.

I was in the military for 6 years I never once heard another soldier say I want to kill someone. I did hear I could not find a decent job so I joined the army. And I wanted to see the world but killing someone never entered my head. I think you are giving soldiers a bad name.

@@blairkeifer7444 Then you didn't follow what Kyle said. Allow me to repeat: Trump encouraged his supporters to go vote on election day, Biden encouraged to vote by mail. Votes cast on election day were counted first, then the mail-in votes, hence why Trump looked like to win big at first for then Biden to catch up as the mail-ins came in. All votes needs to be counted, bruh.

But that's expected, Pittsburgh went blue last time. What was less expected for me is the county where my parents live, Chester county. It went red last time but flipped blue this time. It's a relatively upper middle class area with a majority of Republicans, I'm assuming, but Biden's appeal to the suburbs seems to have worked there. My mom is also part of a PA women's group that was pro-Biden/Harris and there were tons of stories of people who voted Trump last time but were switching or their husband and other family members voted Trump but they got them to switch. I was still worried PA might go red, but I don't think it's fair for either of us to base it off of personal anecdotes. The circles and areas we frequent might not be representative of PA as a whole. Also, ditto what everyone said about mail-in ballots. The Republicans fought to make it so that PA couldn't count the mail-in votes early, so that's what lead to the "Red mirage" we all witnessed on election night.
