Mikey is impressive. Not only because of his sport performances since those can clearly bee seen but because of his mind and his perspective on life. Watched the podcast the first time when it came out and now the second time. Very impressive guy.
Did not really expect Mikey Musumeci on Joe Rogan, but truly happy it happened! Right now some people may still be confused "who is this nerd?" but five - ten years from now this interview will be iconic!
I love how he's not trying to "act cool" and is just nerding-out on his love of BJJ. He's has the same uplifting-feeling about him that Marcelo Garcia always carried with him everywhere he went (and was / is loved for). :)
I eat once a day 6 days a week for one hour. 1 day is my cheat day. I Eat what ever I want all day. The past three months, I lost 27lbs. From 185 lbs to now 158 lbs.

Mikey Musumeci is an extraordinary person, very polite and civilized. When I first saw him, I didn't think he was a fighter, I thought he was a school nerd. Also, his fair-play in the ring is fantastic, he respects his extraordinary opponent.

I just saw this guy in a couple of. videos..he seems like a legend while still being young. The big difference between ONE and UFC is in the views this video has. He's basically the 'perfect' athlete and role model yet not many people know who he is..Daniel Cormier has half a million views and their from the same area training wise..ONE needs to step up their marketing.
I dont follow martial arts really at all besides every once in a while watching random highlights on yt, but they must be doing better cuz even I have seen multiple times that he's headlining the ONE event against one of those other young grappler brothers next weekend in Denver (i think it was denver, need to be served the ad one more time, haha)

Haha... you guys should try an actual finnish sauna, which is usually not below 100C (200+F).Iit is not uncommon to go to 120C - that is 250F! Quite normal in Germany actually, also going into sauna fully naked, mixed gender too, and then taking a ice cold bath...

@@nintendogamer5472 No it doesn’t. It makes me laugh when people like you claim the science is completely on your side. There were some studies that showed natural immunity was superior. Any study you bring up I can find a counter example. So in order to find out whose studies are correct you’d literally have to spend all of your time deep diving researching each study. Like most people who don’t critique studies for a living you read the title of a study or someone else’s interpretation and claim the science is on your side. Extremely dishonest. Our reaction to Covid was way over the top. The fatality rate was extremely low. People who understood health knew that Covid was not a big deal. The vaccine was unnecessary for healthy people. All the average person needed to do was boost their immune system and live a healthy common sense lifestyle. Lockdowns were stupid since most of us were going to catch it at some point and lead to alot of unnecessary lockdown caused deaths.
In Asia they require it, but it doesn’t matter because it has to be one that covers the variants and it wears off after a few months. You are both right and wrong. 1st the vaccine isn’t close to 💯 protection even if it covers the exact variant. And if it’s a close variant the protection is much less. Sl some variants there isn’t much protection. If the vaccine does match the variant and the immune response from the vaccine is strong at the time of infection then it could help the reaction be reduced. Notice I said “could” nowhere near 💯.
Makes total sense! I was raised eating a lot of eggs, bacon, steak, milk, pork chops, light vegetables, and light fruit etc and feel the cleanest, clearest, strongest, and most energetic when I eat a keto style diet… when I eat processed foods, lots of veggies, sugar and carbs I blow up like a balloon and feel like shit!!!
