YES! THE Sinfonia. Very quick (perfect tempo for this bright, incisive instrument and acoustically short space), colorful registrational choices - just excellent. Thank you again, Mr. Scott!

This sounds quite familiar form somewhere. I think my dad used this music in a stills video of pictures of my family when I was a kid. Except, it wasn't an organ.

Bach used to recycle his musical ideas sometimes, and for me as a violonist this piece of music is very well known as the Preludium of the 3th Partita in E major for violon solo, BWV 1006. So, perhaps that is as new for you as it is for me to discover this same piece played on organ!

I think I noted this on the full concert video, but I love how completely of its time the case of this organ is. A lot of modern organ builders are either trying to make their instruments look vintage, or going for a kind of cautious timelessness. Hradetzky? Nope. It's 1973 and we don't care who knows it. :)

@@jeanzahlen2369 no offense, but you should read the description, then you will discover: - this is Bach, not Händel - this is no Guilmant transcription, but a Scott transcription. So no romanticism here;) Have a nice day!

@@RalphLooij sorry, Iof course I have confoubded, Mr Scott posted this Bach and the Guilmant-Haendel...in a short time lapse of course my remarks to you were on Guilmant -Haendel. Also much too fast But I maintain my critics on this Bach-Sinfonia. Th speed takes the grandeur of this work away it becomes petty. This is no show-piece. Sorry. If you listen to all the great organists like Latry, Roth, and even the young generation they play it much more extensive, explicite. I prefer that approach
