I am an artist and have always been impressed with other peoples work but your work goes far beyond being impressed i am stunned, i would love to own one of your works..
Thank you sir, I appreciate your words. I will no longer build such detailed models because they are time consuming and expensive, but possibly in the near future I will build some models on my own in small scales and put them up for sale through this channel and my website.
Since I want to observe the details, I freeze the video here and there, so it takes about an hour to watch one video. It feels unbelievable that all the ultra-precision parts are made using only a cutter knife and small pliers. I want aircraft model fans all over the world to see this wonderful world. Missing a video in this series is a loss for you! I enjoy this series every day. I would like to send many compliments to "Rojas Bazán".
Hello, sir. Thank you again for your nice comments. Unfortunately most aircraft model fans have been conditioned by the plastic kit industry. It's a very long topic to debate and I have countless anecdotes about that.
I keep coming back to this, I just can't get my head around the skill level and craftsmanship needed to build something like this. It's just mind boggling. Sorry I see the expression mind boggling used below but I cant describe it better. It's a work of art. Completely blown away by this lol
Michael, I understand what you want to express. I think that many modelers could build models on a high level, but for the last 40 years they were indoctrinated into being kit assemblers and not craftsmen. Thank you for watching.
If I didn’t see it being done, I’d find it hard to believe it could be done the way it is being done. Modelling at a whole other level. Unbelievable. Can’t wait for part 3.
Ok, I understand that you probably don't have a wife standing nervously behind your back, asking "are you done yet?" like I sadly do. But still, HOW ON EARTH did you manage to build THIS MANY models with THIS LEVEL OF DETAIL?????? I can imagine a truly gifted modeller making up to 1 maybe 2 models like yours in a lifetime. How do you do it? I am amazed by your skill sir!! Most repeated comment on this channel: You are the best model maker on the planet. You just are. Thank you for your amazing work!!
Ctibor, thank you for watching my videos and your time. I have been a professional modeler since 1982 and I have been lucky enough to be able to work in four different countries building aluminum model airplanes for museums and collectors. My old website is messy and I need to update it soon (in some links the titles overlap the photos), but you can still visit it because there is a lot of information there. Of course my wife always supported me because it is my profession. www.rojasbazan.com/press/international-press/index.html
I've said it before, I'll say it again.........without comparison you are definitely the most talented scratch build artist EVER. Thank you so much for sharing with us all. Watched the zero earlier, what's next and when
Your amazing models look better than originals, I had to pause a lot to examine the details, fantastic stuff, world needs more people like you. Peace.. ✌
Dear Rojasbazan ! I’m absolutely speechless ! Your work is up to a level beyond handcrafting ! For me you can engineer an aircraft in 1/1 scale ! Man your job is absolutely astonishing! Congratulations. I’m gonna follow you because I find your work really inspiring and will for sure help me one day in my modeling projects! Thanks a lot for sharing !
Breathtaking. I’m watching with my mouth open. Your amazing ability to translate technical drawings and photographs into a true scaled model, from scratch, in metal, using handtools... not sure where to start or finish. You are truly an extraordinary human being. Thank you for sharing your craftsmanship 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thank you Boris for the nice comment. That's the first dilemma in scratch construction: Where do I start? I hope to help in my first video tutorial, which I'm going to start from February.
Increible ! Muchisimas gracias !
I've been modeling for 55+ years and love to superdetail and scratchbuild WW1 & WW2 aircraft, but your builds make me seem like an amatuer in comparison. You have become a source for details. Awesome models. They are masterpieces. Thanks for sharing your skills and models.
Mate, my previous comments from your other videos stand--this is workmanship beyond my ability to adequately compliment. I truly believe that you are the best scale modeller in the world. Particularly when everything is scratch built. I have taken the liberty to share this video with my friends on Facebook. I hope it results in an even bigger audience marvelling at your work. Sincere thanks to you for continuing to share your creations with us.... especially the part where you are shaping the panel!
@@rojasbazan Great news! I will certainly be purchasing your DVDs. I really believe your techniques will translate well into full scale panel manufacturing. I hope to be able to use the knowledge gained to share with our volunteers at our local aviation heritage centre. This will hopefully help them to complete restoration work on some of our old aircraft.
I think you have captured more of the original design of this aircraft than anyone! The B1 and B2 were the most elegant I think. Highest honor to you my friend! My favorite airplane design-wise, though it had such a deadly reputation.
My first Stuka was the black one cox .049 control line. I loved the detail. Destroyed in the first flight. Reassembled and displayed. Very much enjoyed your build sir. Thanks.
i too, had the cox stuka when i was a kid. loved the sliding canopes.. i also had the cox p-39 airacobra, my first gas plane. it had cool, fat rubber tires
Simply Stunning Craftsmanship.... A true work of art...It is your research and attention to detail that really makes your Models stand out.....2 hand holds or 3...I could have looked at a photo for weeks and not noticed!!! Thanks for sharing and making my model making look very average... LOL....Stay safe Rojas :-))
Thank you, Tom. It is very satisfying that there are people who enjoy this kind of videos. I do the same, but I look at videos on wooden ships construction.
This is amazing. I have honestly never seen this level of detail in a scale model before. I can only compare with simulators but it looks almost real. I've only ever seen one JU-87 in real life (in the German Museum of Technology in Berlin and it was a wreck). Suddenly my hobby shop plastic models look like toys, heh.
I’m silent in awe. What a stunning masterpiece. Any superlative will do you short. Now if you could only pump out as many, and as fast, as they built originals you would have one hell of a business case. :-)
Wim, in order to copy in limited edition this kind of models, it is necessary to invest a lot of money in tooling and the salary of a team of expert craftsmen. Between 1994 and 2008, I worked for Fine Art Models building several custom one-off models to be copied and manufactured in limited edition by a team of artisans from Eastern Europe. The company only copied three of my models; F4U Corsair, P-51 Mustang and Messerschmitt Bf109G. The big problem was that the prices of the copies were extremely expensive.
@@rojasbazan i understand. I was just kind of wishful thinking on your behalf. Seems you deserve seeing your work monetized in some way that does justice to the effort. On the other hand, I think you’re probably doing what you love to do most. So in that sense it may not even feel like work. I’d love to own such a model. Even it was twice the scale and half the detail. Showed it to my kids. Their heads are still spinning in disbelief. P-51 and Spitfire are my two most loved models.
rojasbazan Excelente! A contar 40 dias entonces!
Thank you for the comment, sir. I have been working as a professional modeller for museums and collectors for many years, that's all. www.rojasbazan.com/press/international-press/index.html
Awesome...Without a word, and the constant pleading, ala most You Tubers I have subscribed because of the quality of work...I am looking forward to the next video and future builds...
Hola !! Gracias !!!!
