The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad along with Kalapathar Police raided on an illegal gambling house in Kalapathar and nabbed a gang of 22 people playing poker (03) Cards - Seized 1) Rs. 46,55,810/-, 2) Playing Cards-108 & Sealed Playing Cards Boxes, 3) Cell Phones - 08, 4) Activa Vehicle - 01 and 5) Cash Counting Machine-01 at their instance.

Facts of the case :-
The main organizer/accused is born and brought up at Hyderabad. He has completed his studies upto Intermediate. Since the young age he is addicted to playing cards (03 Cards ). Subsequently he became an organizer and used to run an illegal gambling house in different places in the limits of Tri-Commissionerates. Further he is arranging the punters to the different organizers at Goa, Nepal, Srilanka and others places. For his illegal activities he selected his brother in law’s house which in front of his house and started running gambling house in the premises of H.No. 19-2-180/145, Narasa Reddy Colony, Kalapathar, Hyderabad and engaged employees/co-organizers 1) Mohd Nayeem, 2) Mohd Majeed and 3) Shaik Pasha to procure the punters to play gambling which is a game of chance to earn easy money illegally.
On tip-off credible information in the late night hours of 07.09.2024 the Commissioner’s Task Force Police, South Zone, Hyderabad along with Kalapathar Police conducted raid on the gambling house situated at R/o H.No. 19-2-180/145, Narasa Reddy Colony, Tadbun. Kalapathar, Hyderabad and apprehended (22) persons, out of them the accused 1) Shaik Mohammed Khadeer is the main organizer, 2) Mohd Nayeem, 3) Shaik Pasha, 4) Mohd Majeed are acting as Co-Organisers/Employees to run the gambling house by inviting the players from different places to play gambling ( 03 Cards ).
In this regard, seized net cash of Rs. 46,55,810/-, (104) Playing Cards & Sealed Playing Cards Boxes, (08) Cell Phones, (01) Active vehicle and (01) cash counting machine at the instance of accused persons.
The apprehended accused persons and seized property was handed over to the SHO Kalapathar Police Station for taking further action. The Kalapathar Police registered a case in Cr. No. 147/2024, U/s 3 & 4 of TS Gaming Act and took the up investigation.
The above arrests were made under the supervision of Sri Ande Srinivasa Rao, Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police, Task Force, Hyderabad by Sri S. Raghavendra, Inspector, SIs Sri K. Narsimulu, G. Anjaneyulu, N. Naveen, & Staff of Task Force, South Zone, Hyderabad and Kalapathar Police.
