Critique is neccessary for a dialouge to progress. Letting the mainstream culture continue without critique of its current state will just burry gems like this. The mass cannot appreciate this song, not because its not good, but because they cannot digest it yet.

It's a damn shame that this song is not getting as many views and likes as "Buwan," just because it isn't a love song. Musically, it is even more beautiful and nuanced than "Buwan." And its message is so true and inspiring. This is truly the work of a genius.

I'm sick of sugar coated songs. How some artists would just make songs based on their own emotion mostly about losing lovers where in fact the country is losing people. We have forgotten our Filipino values just for us to blend in a sense of simply surviving and not at all truly living. This song is a cry of a country. A cry of a cause. artists are born out of pain. jk has so much more depth than mainstream artists dahil sa murang edad he had to see the ugly side of life. he learned what it's like to be abandoned and he had to witness death. these experiences force people to mature beyond their age.

This is so underrated. Knowing na radios lang siya nagkakaroon ng promotions and walang tv kasi halos wala siyang projects. Yes hindi natin siya nakikita sa asap since mostly sa asap is mainstream which is not really JK. Most listens to only a certain genre which is pop/hiphop ng OPM. People should recognize other genre like this and the lyricism. It's really amazing na with short period of time nahanap na ni JK yung genre na para sakanya talaga.

Bangtan's Illegirl wag na kayo umasa sa public channels promoting artist. sa online na ang promotions ngayon for artists and producers know that. if you really want to support OPM start by actually buying their songs and streaming on official sites. in fact malaki din ang kita ngayon sa mga live Gigs. kaya nga kabi kabila gigs ng mga bands ngayon.

This is what OPM should be. Hindi puro trashy lyrics and chuchus. This is what we really deserve right now. So sad na di 'to masyadong binibigyan ng pansin because this ain't a love song. Very powerful lyrics and song and it really wowed me that all of these came out from a teenager. I was never a fan of him. Tingin ko sa kanya dati, pa-cool, mayabang at trying hard, but the moment I heard his music na siya mismo ang sumulat, I was like Wow! Is that really JK? One of the things kaya I cope up with my mild depression is this. The lyrics, the message. It's something more than we think. "Pakinggan mo ang iyong puso, maniwala sa sarili mo, dahil minsan lang tayo dito" Do the things you are passionate of, kasi minsan lang tayo dito sa mundo, do it or not, you'll still regret, take a risk. Si jk,siya yung tipong hindi typical. Ang kagandahan pa non, may ganda sa boses at may talino sa pagkanta,bihira na lang kase sa mga artist ang gumagawa ng art na mayroong masidhing mensaheng nilalaman. Nasabi ko to dahil isa din akong artist,hindi sa pagkanta kundi sa pag-guhit at pagpinta. Sana dumami ang mga ganitong artist.Hindi lang puro kalidad ng boses kundi pati din sa nilalaman ng isang artwork.

Okay. Wow. Speechless ako. To be so young and already have this kind of mindset that overflows into the music you wrote...napakahusay mong bata ka. I know that you may feel pressured kasi the music you produce does not cater the mass public, however, i hope you dont get discouraged. Your music may not reach everyone but when they do, it stays in our hearts. Unlike those trendy songs ngayon na although ma lss ka, when you remove all those things that make up the music at tinira lang ang lyrics at hinanap ang totoong meaning, minsan... wala ng sense.
