No matter whether you understand Spanish or not, you cannot tell NPR they are wrong. They are catering to a larger audience than one person. In fact they are catering to the whole United States, and if you haven't noticed there is a very large concentration of Spanish speaking people in this country. Rather than be upset because you do not enjoy the music, simply wait for another video to be posted.

I am surprised this Tiny Desk flopped. I truly enjoy Juanes, even if he's become more commercialized over the years. I recently watched the one with Mon Laferte, and I preferred this one without hesitation.

@JuanEspinalVevo That's exactly what i'm saying. Stop getting all butthurt. I don't understand Spanish...so OBVIOUSLY the lyrics are meaningless to me. All i hear is "blah blah blah"...very much like gibberish. His musicianship and vocal skills aren't that remarkable so his lyrics better be really good. If he wants to sell albums to anyone that doesn't speak Spanish, he's gonna have to release an English album. All Latino artists have recorded in English and have sold LOTS of music.

He's ok, but I think there are better Latin american musicians. Don't say i'm hating, since i'm actually form Peru.

NPR fail. I'm not a musician so I honestly can't appreciate the technical difficulty or originality of this performance instrumentally...which just leaves the lyrics. I don't know Spanish so it's basically an angry dude yelling at me in a language i don't understand. I thought about translating the lyrics using some online software but decided it's not worth the effort. This guy doesnt sound any different than any other Latino artist. Maybe he sings some songs in English? nope.
