Our ambassadors @juanpazurita & @HannahStocking joined us on our island of Mo'orea to learn about coral reefs and how to conserve them.
They arrived just on time to kick off our mass transplantation, where we aim to plant 1 million corals around the world by 2025, starting with 15,000 this year. After more than a year in our nurseries, the corals are grown enough to be fragmented and planted back onto damaged areas of the reef to revitalize them.
Juanpa and Hannah also released a documentary about their times with us to help us raise massive awareness about our dying reefs. Collaborating with people from different horizons allow us to reach new audiences, and this is how we will revolutionize ocean conservation - by spreading the word until the coral reef crisis is impossible to ignore.
