A compilation of Stanier Jubilees at work over the past 7 or 8 years featuring 45596 'Bahamas', 45690 'Leander' and 45699 'Galatea'. 45699 has had several identities over the past few years appearing first as 45562 'Alberta' and then 45627 'Sierra Leone' although the number and nameplate was for 45627, the cabside numbers still showed 45562. A very confused Jubilee!

Thanks Steve, it's a great shame that we've not seen the Jubs this year. Fingers crossed for better things next year but I'm not hopeful!

Austin, Fine locomotives, all nicely captured and a great compilation. A notable point is the majority of the clips don't have diesel assistance which results in the locomotives working harder producing a better sound. Regards, John

The pulling power of Jubilees (quite a ‘long legged’ design) is amazing. Here’s evidence of them putting in greater performances than in BR or LMS days, surely? Thirteen On, unassisted. Strewth. And wonderfully noisy too.

Yes indeed, the Jubs are wonderful locos, probably overloaded on some of these clips but great to see and hear nonetheless
