Why did Islam emerge in 7th-century Arabia and what role did Jews play in its early history? How does Judaism view Islam today? And what are the similarities and differences between the two religions?
Find out in this class where we also explore the Jewish wives and advisors of Muhammad, if a Jew is allowed to pray in a mosque, and an incredible prophecy about the role of Ishmael at the End of Days.

"Allan" has body parts for 1. So they're not even a true monotheism. And ive watched their sheiks (sunni) say it is meant literally, even tho they dont explain what it means or how it works. They also mock us for believing God is everywhere, they believe Allan hovers only over the "throne of glory" I wouldn't enter a mosque, for safety. But also i don't know if it's allowed cuz of what i said. Also the things koo-ran teaches are horrible and vile.

Al-ah is the arabic word for G-D. HaShem simply means 'The Name' in hebrew, since jews consider the name of G-D to be too holy to even be profaned somehow simply by uttering it. Both Judaism and Islam are strictly monoth-istic religions, with the same concept of G-D. In both religions worshipping other false 'g-o-d-s' is seen as a grave sin. Such as Avodah Zarah in Judaism, and Shirk in Islam. So by what logic can u say Al-ah and HaShem are not the same G-D?
@MasterMote
@MasterMote 6 месяцев назад
@@tazziiieee firstly its ironic u write ‘G-d’ but also say ‘profaned somehow simply by uttering it’. its actually a command in Torah that we may only say God’s holy name in the temple(im talking about the tetragamatron). Also, we know God as Yah, and also as the tetragamtron which we pronounce as Adonai(my master) in prayers and refer to as hashem(the name) in conversation. the muslims know no such name. some other differences, is that we see ourselves as being like children to God, in that He created us and has a relationship with us as our creator like we are children. we also view God as loving all people, His love to all being both complete and completely unconditional. islam belief is more like calvinists, where hashems love is dependent and not for everyone. theres many more differences. in truth our similarities are skin deep, and thats because they took everything from us, but they only got the surface level, the deeper ideas they missed just like they missed the Yah names (even tho they acknowledge people with Yah in their names like Eliyahu)

Great video Efraim!! i am a Sephardic Jew, I thought you were Sephardic. But on this video you said you Bukkarian Jew. That's great. Here is my comment: I have read the Quran , in my opinion , the book seems to be very plagiarized from the Tanakh. Islam tampered the Hebrew Scriptures just like Christians did ( 1000's of Bible Versions) into their model religion. Islam is similar to Judaism in the very basics norms just like Christianity with the difference that Christianity practice idolatry. However, Islam is not similar at all regarding the Theology of Judaism. It's like day and night and water and oil. lol I have debated Muslims, they have a different perspective of Judaism with different theological teachings. For example , Isa ( Jesus ) is not more important than Muhammad. (peace be upon them) as oppose to Jews, Moshiach is very important figure in Judaism. Muslims believed that Iza (Jesus) was the Messiah of the Jews just like Christians who supposedly came in 30AD to save Israel. As suppose to Jews. It's the opposite. Isa ( Jesus) was not the Moshiach of Israel. This is a huge theological issue my friends. Muslims believe that Jesus was born of a virgin Mary by divine conception ( immaculate conception) just like Christians. ( Quran) Sura 19. This is not Judaism belief at all. lol Muslims believe the angel Gabriel is the Holy Spirit announced and brought forth the birth of Isa ( Jesus) to Mary. Sura 3:9 ,50,53-56 Muslims believe that Abraham was not a Jew but a Muslim ( Arab). That's a huge difference. Sura 3:67 Muslims believe that they will go to heavens like Christians. For them, there is no such a thing of Messianic age for Moshiach to rule over the throne of David forever. David's throne won't be established in heavens for sure according to the prophets. Muslims bow down for prayers to Mecca , ( Saudia Arabia region) Muslims don't believe Jerusalem was the place of worship. I don't understand why they don't allow Jews to pray there. You figure. Jews bow down towards Jerusalem for prayers. Huge difference, lol Seriously i can go and on with the theological differences and perspectives of Islam vs Judaism but seriously it's like day and night as well as Christianity. I do admire Islam in a few important things like modesty, their laws, and dedication of worship which is way different than Christianity.

Sorry to say but you actually have some facts wrong about Islam. Just because you read the Quran and use it in your own context doesn’t mean you actually understood it. Just for example- Jewish scholars know Abraham wasn’t called a Jew - Judaism wasn’t even really established then. He was from the Ur which is Moderna day Iraq and became an Hebrew. Muslims did believe Jerusalem was the place of worship until it was changed to Mecca. And not all Muslims go to heaven- the concept of free will does exist.

After the Muslim conquest of Jerusalem in 637 CE, the treatment of the holy land of Jerusalem varied depending on the specific historical period and the rulers in power. Here is a general overview: Caliph Umar's Conquest: Caliph Umar ibn al-Khattab, the second caliph of Islam, entered Jerusalem in 637 CE. He signed a peace treaty with the Christian inhabitants, guaranteeing their safety and the protection of their religious sites. The Christians were allowed to continue practicing their faith and were granted religious freedom. Umayyad Dynasty: During the Umayyad period (661-750 CE), Jerusalem became an important center of Islamic administration and a site of religious significance. The Umayyad Caliphate built the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount, solidifying Jerusalem's status as a revered Islamic site. Crusader Period: In 1099 CE, the Crusaders captured Jerusalem and established Christian rule. During this period, Muslim inhabitants faced oppression and restrictions on practicing their faith. However, Salahuddin Ayyubi, a Muslim military leader, successfully recaptured Jerusalem in 1187 CE. Ottoman Rule: From the 16th century until the end of World War I, Jerusalem was under Ottoman rule. The Ottomans maintained the religious and cultural diversity of the city, allowing Muslims, Christians, and Jews to worship freely. Overall, throughout different historical periods, Muslims generally respected the religious significance of Jerusalem, allowing for the protection and maintenance of religious sites for Muslims, Christians, and Jews. However, the specific treatment and policies toward the inhabitants and governance of Jerusalem varied depending on the ruling powers and historical circumstances.

So you were confused about why if the Quran says that we are destined to enter our land why do they not let us take it. Firstly understand there are two concepts to explain here. 1- You can't pick and choose what message from the Quran you want to use to your advantage and what message you don't. If you want to use that argument that the Quran supports our claim then you have to accept the full message of Islam and that goes a lot broader than your video covers. Secondly, the Quran says a lot of other things such as that bani Israel will bring corruption to the land twice. Both times they bring corruption they will lose. The third time they will win. I interpret that to mean that when bani Israel is no longer corrupt then they will succeed. The only way you can not be corrupt is by abiding by the values of Islam. Islam is the platform on which we are all supposed to build societies on. Also, you are undermining the other miracles of the Quran. The Quran and the Arabic language have been preserved for over 1600 years as it claimed it would be within its texts. This is a feat that even Jews haven't accomplished today. Even the modern Hebrew language is not the same ancient language. This shows Arabic and Isam are a sturdy foundation for building a society on. There are so many miracles within the Quran that it is impossible for a human being to have created this text and presented it poetically.

Islam is the majority because males have multiple wives, and they have NO CHOICE but to be Muslims under death penalty if they dare to leave their religion. But just the definitions of Religion and Christianity teaches that our hope resides NOT within us because Jeremiah 17:9 says, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; Who can know it?" Religion is what men/women do to try to achieve God's favor; whereas Christianity is what God did for men/women and here is where FAITH become the corner stone of Christianity. First and foremost, is our FAITH in the sacrifice of JC what save us from dying; nevertheless, Paul says: "Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law." Keeping the 10 Commandments is not exactly what saves us but is the fundamental basis of a Christian's behavior for the rest of his existence after acknowledging JC as Savior until He call us to rest.

Worth mentioning as well there was a community of Ebionites residing in Hejaz at the time. Those ppl that claim finding flaws have been proven wrong, those assertions allways turned out to be false, more so if one doesn't read and speak arabic, which allways turns out to be the case. This language is not a king James version of the bible english....Your gineza stories are maybe good entertainment on a shabad eve, but that's all. 48:18: Someone don't, while the others do. yt: "феномен хуруфуль мукатта". 50:25: The answer is simple. Quran says about the exact moment in time. Quote: 5.22. It says exactly: "go through the gates". That means: go at this exact moment. Since then things changed, aren't they? First of all, the Holy land was captured by romans. And seized by romans for centuries until muslims drove them away. Second of all, at the time of Moses jews were the only keepers of the scripture. But that was changed after Quran was revealed. There is no reason to keep or justify an agreement after these significant changes. How you can be so ignorant to deny the obvious?

Muslims do not hate the Jews or Children of Israel. The fact that Jews or Children of Israel are addressed directly so often in the Qur'an should tell us something. Allah wants to address Jews, to give them dawah [the message], to give them the Qur'an, instead of having stereotypes about them. Islam doesn’t allow stereotypes. Everyone is equal in the eyes of Allah, and the only thing that makes some people better than others is Taqwa [faith/belief]. In the Bible, Joshua 21:43-44 states: “So the Lord gave to Israel all the land of which He had sworn to give to their fathers, and they took possession of it and dwelt in it. The Lord gave them rest all around, according to all that He had sworn to their fathers. And not a man of all their enemies stood against them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand. Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass”. This passage suggests that the Israelites had already taken possession of all the land that God had promised to their forefathers even before the creation of modern State of Israel. So where is the second promise from God that stated Jews can repossess all land of Palestine? The idea only originated from Zionist Jews. The promise of land belonging to the Children of Israel is never permanent. It comes with conditions: “Surely, following the ˹heavenly˺ Record, We decreed in the Scriptures: “My righteous servants shall inherit the land.” (Qur'an 21:105) Psalm 37:29 states that “The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever”. This passage is often interpreted as a promise of God’s blessing for those who live righteously. It is believed that the righteous will be rewarded with a place in the land of Israel, which is often referred to as the “promised land”. Similarly, G-d is sovereign over the nations and history. He raises up and brings down kings and empires according to His will. He uses human agents, even pagan ones, to accomplish His purposes. He is the Lord of hosts, who controls the armies of heaven and earth (Jeremiah 1:15; 25:9; 27:5-7; 32:17) If Zionists claim that G-d had given the land of Palestine to the Jews is true, then why Abraham had to negotiate with the Hittites to purchase a burial plot for his wife, Sarah [Genesis 23]? Why didn't Abraham just take the land like the Zionists did? The so-called "promised land" was given to descendant of Abraham - Isaac only. Likewise, descendants of Ishmael never lay claim to land of Arabia! In addition, Moses and his followers did not enter the "promised" land due to their disobedience. Qur'an 7:128 states: Said Moses to his people, “Seek help through Allah and be patient. Indeed, the earth belongs to Allah. He causes to inherit it whom He wills of His servants. And the [best] outcome is for the righteous.” Jews are no longer G-d chosen people. The Israelites did not keep their part of the covenant. Here is the evidence: Jeremiah 31:31-34: “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” It had already been prophesized in the Bible that the descendants of Ishmael/Arabs shall administer the Temple Mount/Jerusalem. Isaiah 60:7 "All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory." All the flocks of Kedar - On the word 'Kedar,' see the notes at Isaiah 21:16. The Kedarenians were a wandering tribe that frequently changed their residence, though it is probable they usually dwelt in the south part of Arabia Desert, or the north of Arabia Petraea. They are mentioned as dwelling in beautiful tents Sol 1:5 : 'I am black, but comely as the tents of Kedar,' see Psalm 120:5; compare Isaiah 21:16-17; Isaiah 42:11. The language here also means that that which constituted their principal wealth would come and enrich Jerusalem. The rams of Nebaioth - Nebaioth was also a son of Ishmael Genesis 25:13; 1 Chronicles 1:29, and was the father of the Nabatheans. They were a people of Arabia Petraea, and lived principally by plunder, trade, and the keeping of flocks. The country of Nabathea extended, it is supposed, from the Euphrates to the Red Sea, and embraced Petra, the capital of Arabia Deserts, and also Medaba. It is not possible, however, to fix the exact boundaries of the various tribes of Arabians. The general idea is, that their most valuable possessions would be devoted to God. The second Temple had been completely destroyed as predicted by Jesus in Luke 21:5-38. For 500 years or more, it had been left in ruins by the Jews. When Umar Ibn al-Khattab, the second caliph of Islam, captured Jerusalem in 638 CE, there was not a single Jew in Jerusalem. Now, as prophesized by Isaiah, Jerusalem is administered by descendants of Ishmael/Arabs. Dome of the Rock is the Third Temple. There are some interpretations of the Bible that suggest that the construction of the Dome of the Rock is prophesied in the Book of Daniel. Specifically, some people believe that Daniel 12:11 is a prophecy about the building of the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. "And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days." [Daniel 12:11] Rabbi Isser Weisberg of Machon Mishne Torah in Lakewood, explained that the “appalling abomination” spoken about in the Book of Daniel is the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, which was completed in the year 692. Counting 1290 (a thousand two hundred and ninety) years from the completion of the Dome of the Rock “you get 1982 and the 1335 (one thousand three hundred and thirty-five) ends in 2027. So that’s the window (1982-2027) when the Moshiach has to come.” This may confirmed the Qur'anic message. In Qur'an 17:104 says "And We said to the Children of Israel after Pharaoh, “Reside in the land, but when the promise of the Hereafter comes to pass, We will bring you all together.” The modern state of Israel was promised by British and its allies and not by G-d. In ancient Israel, G-d had prepared Moses for 80 years to lead His people Israel. 1948+80= 2028 may be the complete systematic dismantling of the modern state of Israel by God All-mighty. It is a heresy/unholy to think that Jews shall administer Temple Mount/Jerusalem as it had been clear in the Holy scripture that descendants of Ishmael/Arabs had been ordained by G-d to administer Jerusalem/Temple Mount. Qur'an 67:10 Allah says: And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze." In Hebrew Bible, Devarim 32:17 reads as follows: "They sacrificed to demons, not God, to gods they had not known, new gods that had come recently, whom your ancestors had not feared". The medieval commentator Ibn Ezra suggested that the “new gods” mentioned in this verse were actually the gods of foreign nations that the Israelites had come into contact with. "new gods" is today's Zionism. Zionism is a nationalist movement that emerged in the 19th century to enable the establishment of a homeland for the Jewish people in Palestine. The movement initially emerged in Central and Eastern Europe as a national revival movement in the late 19th century, both in reaction to newer waves of antisemitism and as a consequence of Haskalah, or Jewish Enlightenment. Since the establishment of Israel, Zionism became an ideology that supports “the development and protection of the State of Israel”. One cannot deny that the conflicts in the middle-east is caused by the Zionism movement and the violations of the 3 Oaths made by the Jews found in the Talmud (Song of Songs 2:7, 3:5, 8:4): The Oaths: First Oath: Israel should not ascend to the land in a wall (i.e., en masse or forcefully). Second Oath: The Holy One adjured Israel not to rebel against the nations of the world. Third Oath: The Holy One adjured the nations not to oppress Israel excessively. Jews worldwide are now paying the price for the violations of the 3 Oaths Zionism ("new gods") is only around 100 years old. It is the transformation from religion to nationalism, to materialism created by non-religious Jews who hated their religion. The reason why they use the name Israel, the Star of David, hijacking, stealing the identity of Judaism and the Jewish people is in order to gain a legitimacy for their existence that should lead people to say, 'oh, it is God given to them' and that they should use fear and intimidate people from speaking out against their actions because they will call those that do anti Semitic; it couldn't be anything further from the Truth. Leviticus 26:18 “And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.”

Same for a muslim, we are not allowed to enter a church, but we can enter a synagogue. I think we can even pray there, if no mosque is near...Imagine you're far from home, it rains cats and dogs, prayer is due and there is a synagogue around the corner. A kind jew welcomes you shows you a place to put your shoes and wet coat and leads you to a quiet corner where you can pray after doing ablution. I like this vision.

I understand that there is a belief that the Quran was corrupted by Abdullah Ibn-e-Salam, who was a Jewish convert to Islam. You mentioned in your video that he purposely inserted certain texts into the Quran so that Jewish individuals would recognize that it is not a divine book. You mentioned a surah that reads: "O my people, enter the Holy Land which God has assigned for you, and do not turn back, lest you return as losers." Is it also believed that this surah was purposely inserted by Abdullah Ibn-e-Salam--- Right?? This Surah favors you right??🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ok well, today I’ve heard several videos speak on how the Christian’s helped to disperse the Jewish people and so on and so forth. But I differ from this view and it be nice to call things as they are. The biggest church was originally from Israel and our apostles came out of it. Now, I believe that ill intention people took the name of Christ and made it their own and started the Catholic Church, which we all know from history their ways are not our ways, but as it is with everything there are men and women inside of it that do believe in Jesus the right way. But that came ages after when they finally let the people read the Bible and then Lutero brought the reformation. Even tho he also set aside Israel, I have no idea why, those of us that are blessed enough to read the Bible can very well see that our duty is to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the conversion of the Israelites. This being ordered by the Apostle Paul who in my mind did it with a kind heart. There are sons of perdition everywhere. Inside the Christian community, inside Islam, inside Judaism. People who follow the evil of their hearts and bring about the intents of our adversary. I personally don’t know any Christian that will speak ill of the Jewish people. But I’ve heard and seen Christian’s who don’t read the scriptures and are not at all aware of what is right and what is wrong. The scriptures are filled with God promise to Israel and to the seat of David, how can I after reading the Word come against Israel ? Did so called Christian’s do evil to the Jewish people ? Yes. Why? Power, land and most importantly because they sided with the spiritual evils who hate the Jews just because it was them that brought forth our messiah Jesus Christ. And it is Israel that will make come forth Jesus second coming. I would so love to hear people say “the Catholic Church” instead of the Christian’s. But C'est la vie, it is what it is. Israel and true Christian’s are bound together forever. We will have the same fate here on earth. We are brothers, and we believers in Christ we were called to bring jealousy to the hearts of his chosen people. It says so in the Bible. I bless Israel and I bless its people. May the Lord God always bless them and keep them from evil. I really love your channel. Cheers.

So, me as a lay person and with a little knowledge would like to comment on your sermon, Firstly the prophet of Islam didn't spread his religion by the sword but he spread his empire through war, common at that time. secondly about the Sister of aaron and daughter of Imran issue, according to the hadith no 2135 of sahih Muslim. It's been said "When I came to Najran, the Christian monks asked me, “You recite the verse, ‘O sister of Aaron,’ (19:28) but Moses was born long before Jesus by many years.” When I came back to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, I asked him about it and he said, “Verily, they used to name people with the names of prophets and righteous people who had passed before them.” and so that's the answer to "sister of aaron" issue and for the name Imran, he is said to be actually the father of Virgin Mary as per surah 3:35. That's being done. As for the issue related to Tower of babel, firstly i would like to conduct my research then respond to that issue in the context it was said interconnectedly. But it would like you to consider the fact that in the previous times greeks and jews weren't secure under the rule of Romans and Persians but Islam provide that era with absolute diversity and person from every religion was welcomed. In every way Muslims tried to provide for a better and a rational way to a problem at that time based on their religious philosophy.

Here's some less stale prophecy for this special Easter Egg season: Sabbaths C2020 Purple Passion Productions By Rob Tromp Sabbaths old, Sabbaths new, How to tell which one is true? A new Sabbath awaits this race, Come to show God's happier face. The old Sabbath - dark, arcane, Forged in tomes of mortal pain. The current Sabbath, day of rest, Taught to show what God loves best. The coming Sabbath teaches more, Full of truth that men abhor, Come to show those rich and poor, The true meaning of Trinity's door. Come and share this first with me, A blessed new day of Trinity. Not for sackcloth nor for robes, Not for God but for ourselves. A day of passion no longer hid, By fear of what we dreamed, and hid. A day to grasp what God once did, When first he made the first new kid. A day to celebrate much more, The day he made a second door. Creating mother, loving all. Who now too seeks to make us thrall. The day of patterns, souls entwined, Bound by karma's sacred vine. Around a tree, knowledge's store, Which now we need to fear no more. Come take this cup and drink with me, On Sabbath purely made for thee. To experience what you chose to do, Instead of someone else's brew. Knowing what is proved as true, The heaven of connection waits for you. To plan new lives of learning more, To open each their special door. A universe awaits for thee, To create new dreams of infinity. To have what all begrudged God, And see their dreams turn just as odd. A place where your perfection's test, Can struggle to become the best. Where you alone can go rehearse, To understand the multiverse. A place which has still mortal pain, Which you try again to ease in vain. Flagellating souls unseen, With harmful thoughts, dark and mean. Fighting karma all your own, No real souls there to bitch and moan. A game so real, yourself the matrix, Inventor of your dominatrix. Sabbath new born today, New ways to learn, new ways to pray. Not on knees but head held high, Looking on a brand new sky. Constellations ne'er seen before, Showing some soul's brand new door. The laws of physics yet do change, Bringing DNA new range. Bringing new bosons never found, With properties scientists astound. Bringing all to sacred place, Admitting cosmic evolution's face. A Sabbath of possibility, Where all add branches to the tree. Where trees are no more cut and shorn, The moment fearful ideas are borne. The Tower of Babel mistook again, For mortal foe instead of friend. But always closer truth to find, In open heart and open mind. The age is come when cycles fail, When enlightenment begins to pale, When light and dark blend purplely, And step back to see a bigger tree. The grand fractal has a seed, Which overshadows human greed. It spreads but slowly, growing fast, Justifying man's shameful past. Aquarius begins to soar, The heaven's waters stiff no more. Pyramid's rule no longer burden, Merkaba's power no longer hidden. Celebrate this day with me, Many truths for all to see. Each one a special little door, To see grand fractals more and more. Patterns for each kind of soul, Old and new, shy and bold. Sabbaths to infinity, Growing each our own best tree. Celebrate with many souls, Your oversoul's chosen role. The leader of a middle beast, And think more of the body's least. Medicine is spirit science, Overcoming corporate science. The body is a partnership, Of souls who gave their voice your lip. Speak and live your truth this day, Oppressor's karma sure to pay, For punishments not earned by thought, Of what to wish but made real not. Go now children to your new homes, Kingdom's come through your smart phones. You've invented AI tools, To implement the gods' new rules. Play new games ever changing, Children learn, new patterns ranging, Some are dark but so appealing, Showing karma hid but healing. Some inspire and ope a seed, Full of passion's burning need. A messiah's life to try to live, A precious gift the world to give. All will try and all will fail, Dark passions thrive and bright ones pale. Another life to try again, And touch creation with perfect pen. A line of prophets young and old, Some are shy, some are bold. Some with fire to shake the world, Others smile in corners curled. All are waking to the plan, Set in motion by first soul man. God has come in body carnate, To share new worlds that all create. He is risen once again, To laugh at foe and laugh with friend. For happy is the soul who laughs, At the foibles of their other halfs. Duality no more is needed, Nor will cosmic one be heeded. Each soul a sovereign individ, To believe what truth they find unhid. The spirit science day is near, Saint and sinner no more to fear, For stupid choices great and small, That put some windows in your wall. Buffet's Monday come to stay, To pray for those from Sabbath stray, And dream of Sabbaths far away, When comes YOUR resurrection day.

Circumventing it and kissing it just like the pagans who worshipped the stone before him isn’t worshipping it? This house (random stone) has been stolen and was even put in a latrine. Also, absolutely no evidence of that happening except what the Quran asserts. The myth didn’t exist prior to that. That is simply Mohammad trying to repurpose meaningful pagan and Arabian symbols into his monotheistic religion.

So how do you explain all these verses in the Qu’ran that appear in the Talmud, considering the fact that the Talmud was written years before the Quran
@seektruth581
@seektruth581 5 месяцев назад
This is false. There is many things in the Talmud that were written in the Quran. Such as Surah 5:32 it says "That is why We ordained for the Children of Israel that whoever takes a life-unless as a punishment for murder or mischief in the land-it will be as if they killed all of humanity" We find this same statement written by a Rabbi in the Talmud before Muhammad. (Talmud, Sanhedrin 34a). Technically speaking Allah is making the Rabbis into God, because Allah is copying the Rabbis words.

@@EfraimPalvanovWould take too long to explain all the little and big inaccuracies but let’s focus in on one. Banu Qurayza. Here’s a few facts that I believe would have made your presentation more honest: 1. The mention of the Constitution of Medina, which is essentially the only document both secular scholars and devout Muslim ones both agree came from the Prophet. That document gave Jews in Yathrib equal rights, premised on shared defence, and included them in the Ummah (faith-community) of the Muslims. 2. The fact that Banu Qurayza betrayed the Muslims in favor of the pagan Arabs in the Battle of the Trench. 3. Finally, and most ironically, the fact that it wasn’t even the Prophet who rendered judgement on Banu Qurayza but Sa’d ibn Mu’adh, a tribal chief from a Jewish clan, basing his decision on Deuteronomy 20:12-14 (Sahih al-Bukhari 3804)
@miAIFI
@miAIFI 23 дня назад
@@EfraimPalvanovAnother thing, tangentially, you said you had never been given a satisfactory answer for why the Quran calls Mary the sister of Aaron and the daughter of ‘Imran. I think, as a Jew, that you will find this explaination interesting. First I’ll give you some reasons why Mary is *not* actually confused with Miriam as it would seem prima facie. 1. Jesus in the Quran is mentioned as last in a series of Israelite prophets 2. Mary being raised in the Temple, which obviously postdates Moses. 3. The inclusion of figures contemporary with Mary, not Miriam, in the Quran e.g John the Baptist, Zechariah etc. Then why does the Quran equate Mary with Miriam? I think this is another instance of intertextuality between the Quran and the Talmud. As you may know, in Jewish tradition, the line of kings begins with Miriam and is merited to her. This is for a few reasons but the primary one is an identification of Miriam as one of the two midwives in Exo. 1 w/ her mother as the other midwife. In that chapter it says that “God made houses of the two midwives” Traditional Jewish interpretation has been that her mother was granted the ‘house’ of priesthood (Moses and Aaron) and that Miriam was granted the house of royalty. Accordingly, David descends from a union of Miriam and Caleb (who has some interesting parallels with David) from likely his maternal line. The Quran is affirming that tradition as accurate, & highlighting Jesus’ own maternal line, and ultimately his connection to the line of kings. In a sense, the Quran’s affirmation of this tradition and it culminating in Jesus makes sense on a deep level, since it has otherwise been understood that the line of kings is paternal, but we know Jesus has no father. ‘Isa ibn Maryam truly (there’s another *very* interesting reason the Quran calls him ‘Isa which has intertextuality with Jewish tradition too).
@EfraimPalvanov
@EfraimPalvanov 23 дня назад
@@miAIFI 1. The Qurayza are not mentioned in the Constitution of Medina! It mentions a bunch of smaller tribes but the three big ones (Qaynuqa, Nadir, Qurayza) are conspicuously absent. 2. That's a Muslim perspective on it, understandably trying to justify the massacre. 3. The Jews wrongly believed that Sa'd would be a neutral judge, but he was actually Muhammad's friend and a convert to Islam. Not surprisingly, he judged in Muhammad's favour. (Also, according to Ibn Ishaq, it was Muhammad who appointed Sa'd as the judge, not the Jews.)
@miAIFI
@miAIFI 22 дня назад
@@EfraimPalvanov Likely because the Constitution was drafted after the expulsion/killing of those specific Jewish tribes, I’d wager. The many injuctions against betrayal in the document adds to this view. On your second objection though, are we trusting the Muslim sources or aren’t we? It isn’t a matter of “perspective” but what the historical sources we have say. Furthermore, if there weren’t any betrayal, what would sour the Muslims against the Banu Qurayza immediately after the battle? We don’t have access to Banu Qurayza’s perspective (or that of the Amalekites come to think of it). And regarding Sa’d, whether it was Muhammad or the Jews themselves who appointed him is largely irrelevant, there was a reason that both the Banu Qurayza and Muhammad acceded to him being made the judge. First, because he had been mortally wounded in the siege with the pagan Arabs (less incentive to lie for material benefits, as you can well imagine). Secondly, he was a Jew by descent and a Muslim by choice so he had reason to favor each. He had been one of the earliest converts, so this likely didn’t come as a surprise to the Banu Qurayza as your reply implied. Thirdly and lastly, as a tribal chief of the Banu Aws, the Banu Qurayza were their sworn allies and client tribe. So Sa’d had several reasons to be gentle with Banu Qurayza, but the fact that he wasn’t says something about the nature of the betrayal in my view.

Very interesting video! Thanks again! The Ben Ish Chai's chidush at the 17/18 minute mark is nice, but its not historically accurate at all. He should have reviewed history before committing that idea to writing. Less genocide and more opportunities for intellectual growth in secular education.

Just as you Jews do not pronounce the Name of the LORD (אלוה : الله), your tribal religion weren't of the Prophets, nor of Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Ishmael - their religion was always to submit to the commandments of the Almighty, which is Islam. A simple logic: Judah (the eponym of Judaism) was a great-grandson of Abraham; so, how can Abraham be a Jew? And, Moses wasn't a Jew, as his tribe is well-established to be of Levi'im. Why do you compare the religion of Abraham (i.e. Islam) to the religion named after a tribe (i.e. Judaism)?
