Saw this tour at Ozzfest 2004 in San Antonio it was fxxking magic Rob was back! The crowd the setlist it full of classics. This show rivaled the British Steel tour of 1980. This was a gem for ther ages
So cool to stumble upon this on RU-vid! Historic show - Priest's reunion was exclusive to OzzFest at the time, but they "snuck up" to Toronto in between OzzFest dates, marking a return to the city where Halford's final show with Priest was in 1991. 2004 seems like yesterday, but it's crazy how so much has changed. Back then we were still in standard def, all tickets had strict "no cameras / no recording" printed on them (I still have my rain soaked ticket from this show - was up in the 400's and it poured rain on us during Slayer opening), and cell phones were useless for recording shows (1 megapixel cameras that recorded 320x240 video with distorted audio). If you were lucky, you snuck in a 4 megapixel digital point & shoot camera that recorded 640x480 video. This looks like it's actually shot on a hidden camera video tape, which is amazing (and fantastic audio quality). I remember getting the audio for this show from Halford's Quorum and burning it on 2 CD's (still have them). Seeing this video is priceless! Fantastic show in Priest history.
I saw the show in Kansas City Missouri. Those who saw this tour can say something very cool: you saw the original Judas Priest open for the original Black Sabbath.
This might be one of the best bootlegs ever. The sound sounds like your standing there live! I was a spry 18 year old fresh out of highschool! I'll never forget that night!
I saw this tour in Budapest and the whole evening was unreal, the most cathartic show I have ever witnessed, I have goosebumps rewatching this, thanks for the upload!
I authored this DVD about 16 years ago. I got the video from the actual filmer & I believe he sent me the master recording for me to put on DVD. The audio on the actual video was awfully loud and distorted but filmer also recorded the audio portion separate and I synced them together. THANK GOODNESS!!! I can upload the video of this that is so much cleaner than this version
