It was because of this song that I became a Judas Priest fan. The first time I heard it was in GTA Vice City and since there was no Internet at the time, I promised myself that when one day I got to know the band (at the time I didn't know their name) I would become a fan. In the last few months I have been listening to the entire discography and I only have Firepower left to listen to. So far Screaming For Vengeance was the album I liked the most, the others are also very good. Who would have thought that thanks to a game this would happen to me.
I learned about a lot of popular songs because of video games and movies the same way. Now, whenever I hear a song that I recognize, I just Shazam and hope to catch the title and artist, or I write down the lyrics if I can’t Shazam it at the moment and then I look it up by typing the lyrics in until I can find the title of it and the artist.
Ok........duh huh......um like hi Tina n her minions. No worries I get it. That's how it is when your way way down that rabbit hole your chasing. Brains of the op, nah don't think so brah.💤😴💤😴💤😴
i am 65 and still listen to this. gets the blood flowing good drive to work music or to listen to when on a tractor mowing the lawn or plowing the fields
Im fighting cancer now with everything i got , this a whole different beast! I wont tap and ill post something hear next year . Ill be hear. Be good , Be cool ✌️❤️
Was 17 fighting cancer and would make jokes for everything I did that was a pain in the ass to breaking the law. "Washing the dish washing the dish.... Mowing the lawn mowing the lawn" gave me power. Never did chemo or radiation. Just had it cut out of my throat. Ruined my singing voice but still played in bands as a guitarist and sometimes bassist into my late 20's. Never doubt your firepower! I'm 35 now, if that means anything. Positive mood is everything.
Look up some stuff called IP6, I know a guy that went through chemo and all that crap, he got down to 90lbs and modern medicine gave up on him, told him there was nothing left they could do, go home call hospice and start making plans, he got IP6 and is 100% cancer free
What?! NO DOUBT you weren't born, let alone had access to the RECORD, when it was released! 1983.. USSR! I was into heavy metal in order to regress from the existential THREAT you lousy IVANS posed! Now?.. 🇺🇦🤬
The perfect Song for me My Name is Rt Truly Blessed By God Almighty Never to be like anybody That is my Mother and me A Priceless Blessing Permanently for my Mother and me Oh Yeah True Blessings and Guidance that can never be bought with money Oh yeah Whoo😃😃😃
I was 14 years old when this came out at the dawn of Heavy Metal in the early 80s. What a great time to be alive! Saw them twice. Parents were scared, girls were easy, the bong stayed lit, and life was great!😀🤘
Your the man lol. I was born in 1972 and probably have similar stories as you. except when that girl was sitting on the kitchen counter with her legs spread open...I was scared to move in lol. OUCH lol. Now I know :).
Disgusting. How reassuring it is to know that the old order of such things is passing away. The youth is returning to tradition and spurning the degeneracy that has destroyed our nations.
God... there are so many good chord changes in this song... I love when he says "COMING FOR YOU!" and the slower bit before the solo, and you can forget the drum breakdown near the end.
@@carlinshowalter1806 Tbh, every Billboard Hot 100 or UK Singles songs that came out when boomers were in their early 20s (that was during 1966-1986) are WAY OVERPOWERED!
Born in '65, I was around when "Screaming for Vengeance" was released. I remember cranking this on my Dad's (RIP) Pioneer stereo system with its big CS-99A speakers so the neighbours could enjoy it as much as I did :-). "Screaming for Vengeance" is a fantastic album.
As a bassist, I can tell you that this is one of the easiest songs I've ever learned... And yet this bassline is beyond incredible, it drives the entire song like nothing else could, especially the chorus part!
I was TEN years old and I LOVED this song,. I wasn't big on many songs in this genre, but I loved this one. At the tie that I bought the tape, I only liked two songs but their music just grew on me. I don't know if I was my thirties or forties, but it got to the point where I loved all of their songs.
Whenever I listen to this. I picture me and my friends walking into a bar. I toss my leather jacket to them, and I take someone's drink and throw the shot glass on the ground.
Last time I saw them was in 2011 and they literally melted my face. The music was on fire, the band were on fire and the pyrotechnic fire display was HOT! A concert that will stay with me for life.
Tenho o prazer de ouvi-la desde a adolescência no fim dos fantásticos anos 80....E a felicidade de ver meu filho adolescente herdar minha Paixão pelo Priest e Rock n Roll😎
I will say a prayer for you my friend you don't know me but that makes no difference to me . Keep on fighting Don't give up. This band I've listened and loved from the get go . They are incredibly powerful
I've always been a Judas Priest fan. This song released in 1982 had a meaning for me. I could achieve anything. Today, 2022 it has the same meaning 40 years later. America, don't let anything, ANYTHING, get in your way. Afterall, it's up to YOU. Always was and always will be!
