I just discovered this show and jesus h christ- this series kicks ass!! The story line is exciting, the main characters are people i'd like to have on my side - fighting for me and fighting with me. The bad guys- well i'd have no problem giving them a bullet to the back of the head, lol. The actors are incredible; they really make the whole thing REAL- they make it all come to life- and its a believable reality. I love the show.
According to Jude Christodal's own website: "February 22, 2013 - New Song New music! The first new "Jude" song I've put out in a good while is premiering tonight at the end of Banshee, which is sort of like Downton Abbey but a little sexier... This is the only place to hear it until it comes out later this year on an album, so check it out, dvr it, go with God! Oh, it's called "The One That You Really Love"" So... we'll just have to be patient. :)
It's Jude himself. I read others saying this and didn't believe it at first, but then I listened to his "King of Yesterday", and now I'm convinced. Anyway, I wish they would release the Banshee version, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. It's just GLORIOUS!
Mother teaching me now lessons from the past In faded photo albums lying open on the floor She heals me with a Nikon camera captured laugh And with a wink she sets me free forever more So consume me now and burn me to the marrow Heat me up like the world can never do Tear my heart out from my body if you have to and Then swallow me to prove that I am you
Lover come and set me free from my restrain Tear the rags away they bind me Stare me down and cut me deeply to the bone Give me every tooth and blind me You are Madonna, you Lady Divine You are part Mother Theresa and a valentine Some man's pariah and a slippery slope But to me you are the fire and I fly to my hope
Who is singing this version of this song? It was a song by Jude but in Banshee it was by someone else. Love this version- trying to find out who it is.

"Banshee" is the best show on television - bar none. Ivana Milicevic not getting any nominations for playing the best role written for a woman on television (because people in the industry that nominate and give awards don't like female characters that are so f'in strong, smart, and beautiful) is bullsh!t.
So, I watched this before I watched the finale, and I could have sworn that when the episode cut in, the guy was saying "Fuck" a whole lot. I thought something bad happened.
It's sung by Jude. Bare in mind the original was sung some 10 years earlier. people change, voices change, emotions change and all in all the song thus comes out different. I agree, it's better than the original
