I know. Like is it illegally hooked up or nah? She acts like she has no idea but if you’re not getting a bill, you ask before the electric company hits you with a huge bill out the blue. She danced around that question so damm much.
This lady is very ignorant. She kept digging herself a hole the more she talked. Why would someone knowingly rent an apartment where they could not get electricity?
Lady in Red: class act! Truth stands on its own! Because confidence is silent, while lies and insecurities are 🗣LOUD!! 😐 Love you Judge Faith! 🥰 Black Queen to emulate! 👏🏽🙏🏽
If the property can not have electricity due to "theft" of service, which also means there is an outstanding bill, it is the responsibility of the owner of property to pay that bill. It is not on the tenant who wishes to rent the property. What a dumb landlord.
@Hebrew Executioner no matter how you look at it the landlord's the one who's out of her money also even if the plaintiff's in the wrong the landlord is more in the wrong for the actions of her choices especially with the theft issue so either way you look at it the landlord's to blame for the problems on said house
@Hebrew Executioner Actually it's you that's full of shit. "Plaintiff is the scammer." Scammer how? Because of the story she gave? Really? She made it be known she was looking at several houses, 15 to be exact. The neighbor of the house she was looking at told her about the defendants house. "Did you notice she started trouble after the date she was to move in?" Actually she started looking around the house on the 1st & continued to do so. To make sure the necessary repairs are done or completed. She didn't move in & looked at it again after the move in date. "The Uhaul story lets you know she full of shit the plaintiff that is." How? Because she refused? How the Fuck is refusing a Uhaul proof of being full of shit? It doesn't prove 1 thing. Just so you know, I've moved several times & anytime a Uhaul was offered, guess what? Refused. You don't need a Uhaul to move, speaking from experience here.
Hebrew Executioner I grew up in a home with no gas/heat in the winter time in Canada. It was actually colder inside the house than it was outside. So if I had to choose between outside in the cold for free and inside a house with no heat for all the money I had I would choose outside. Just something for you to think about. Just because she is homeless she doesn’t have to accept a home with no gas or heat. That’s ridiculous.
@Hebrew Executioner No the plaintiff would have rented a u-haul and the defendant would have used it to move her own stuff out and then the plaintiff would have been responsible to pay and still not be able to move into the house. No one is going to move into a house with no way to turn on the electricity or gas. No heat, no gas or electricity to cook or heat water to bathe. You'd have to be a moron. I guess you would have moved in? No one ever said she went in or opened a door btw.
The Dead Heat a winter is a figure of speech for a very very cold time in a winter time research it trust me that woman is very intelligent and intellectual
I love how the plaintiff handled the case. I also love that she didn’t get entangled in another situation with the defendant. She denied the whole U-Haul arrangement. She said I don’t need any help with my stuff. Yessss!
“DTE has nothing to do with you renting out property” Yes they do, they have to inspect the residence before anyone can move it. This could have gotten a whole lot worse for this “landlord” if this lady would have moved in and an accident would have happened.
I like this show ... but I cannot stand seeing the 'fake audience' in the background when they turn and pretend to have realistic conversations with each other; you can tell they're not really saying anything ha lol. I think it would be better to have members of the public in the audience for sure, rather than 'extras/actors'. Makes the whole proceedings more realistic.
Charisse Cameron I don't think they have recorded any new episodes, that's probably why you can't get tickets. There hasn't been a new season in almost two years now.
She knew about the electric investigation that's why neither her or the other owner lived there and used it for storage 🙄🙄 When they figured out how to steal electricity that's when the other ower started living there
I love seeing cases of people from my home state. DTE wants your money, if there wasn’t a legit issue they’d get utilities set up ASAP so you can start paying them!! Having a proper meter has everything to do with renting a property 🙄
The defendant is delusional. How can any tenant move into an apartment/house if they can’t get the utilities on in their own name? That property was probably in foreclosure & was using it as a storage space. Smh I’m glad the plaintiff was able to get her $ back.
Alize Cameron it's going down meet me at your house it's going down meet me outside it's going down anywhere you meet guaranteed it's going down lol #yung joc
So here's a question for the crazy defendant. If the house was still full of furniture and you were stealing electricity from a neighbor and you still had elements of the house that had to be repaired before you could rent it out, WHY THEN did you accept this lady's $1500 deposit for your house and say she could move in on the third? If that were the case, you SHOULD have said "I am GOING to rent it, but its not ready yet. If you are interested, I can take your number and I will let you know when I AM ready to rent it and we can write up a lease agreement. By accepting the money, she is acknowledging that this lady was going to rent from her. If I give someone that kind of money, my intent is to MOVE IN. Not sit there twiddling my thumbs waiting until its "convenient" for you. And if you didn't have the house ready and we hadn't signed the contract yet, I am entitled to my money back.
This defendant is annoying.. Liar all the way. She tried to throw the plaintiff's health issue in as the reason for being accommodating. Nasty disgusting person
@9:58 the plaintiff was showing the illegal electrical hookup to the judge. The defendant says, I paid $650 for that. If you not renting the house, why are you on my property? When she said she paid $650 for That, can That be the illegal electric. 😂 The nerve of some people!
"Inconvenience fee" lol.... The only one inconvenienced was the plaintiff, and she was way more than just inconvenienced! The defendant rigged up that electrical set up herself. Like no one was ever going to notice what is in plain sight. Really? Lol....
okay first of all yes the electric comapany has everything to do with it 1st you have to be able to turn lights on in the house and 2nd if the light hook up is stealing a neibors lights those lights wont bse turned on and that what the landlord dont gets . third the house wasnt even ready to rent . and forth the person wanting to rent the place didnt dammage the place so no she doesnt get to keep themoney at all . she just wanted that money for herself and wasnt gonna happen.
