Actually it should be worse for her. Her career is putting people in jail for criminal behavior so she should be held to a much higher standard than everyone else. Not everyone should lose their career for drinking and driving, but a Judge or police officer absolutely should lose their careers for drinking and driving.
@@scottmichaels12 have you ever heard of something called everyone should be treated equally under the law. She should be treated the same as everyone else that is arrested for the first DWI. Which in Texas is up to a $2,000 fine and 180 days in county jail
Where is your proof on what you say. I have been pulled over for speeding before and gotten a warning and at the same time I did a the same test that she did and they said I passed and they let me go
Driving on the wrong side of the road and smelling alcohol. Both cameras are obstructed come on now. This judge got off lucky, didn’t even get a ticket for driving on the wrong side of the road.
Where's your proof that she was driving drunk. She passed the field sobriety test. And the officer even said you either have a whole bunch of perfume on or I smell alcohol which one is it. If somebody walks up to you and goes I smell alcohol arrest her you think you should be put in jail because somebody made something up what makes a police officer an expert of smelling alcohol
@@John-f8e2y I can't think of a single time a non-elderly person was driving on the wrong side of the road sober. I can find dozens upon dozens of incidents where drunk people were driving the wrong way.
@@RobertOBrien-jk2bz very poor reporting but it seems this is TWO different DWI cases - so her butt needs time in jail, a hypocrite among thieves, murderers and drunks. This case pulled over by deputies - the other case clearly police.
@@doannad.1518 do you even have a brain did you even reread your statement before you sent it."how many times to you have to deny to make it true."You do understand that's not correct don't you. I have been accused of drinking and driving a few times and I was given a field sobriety test each time and I passed it each time just like this judge passed her test and I did not go to jail. One time me and some of my buddies were drinking in the front yard by my car and one of them spilled a beer in my car later on when I drove to the store and got pulled over The police officer said how he smelt alcohol and I told him yes you do My friend spilled his beer in my car about 2 hours ago. The cop asked me where did he spill it I said in the passenger side of the back seat on the floor. The police went over there opened the passenger door put his hand down there touched the floor and he could fill the dampness and smell the alcohol. I then got out of the car and took a field sobriety test and passed and he let me go. But according to you anybody in America that when a cop automatically smells alcohol goes to jail and I just simply told you you're wrong that's not true and it's not. What you're saying means at least every person in America would go to jail at least once for DWI because all the cop would have to do is come up and say hey I smell alcohol get out you're being arrested. It doesn't work like that dumbass
If you break the law as a judge, you should be automatically disbarred. You are held at a higher standard. You put people in prison! Also if you are a LE officer*
They should have took her to jail, guess she's above the law it would be bad maybe if she didn't get off again, if she would have been in car crash, that where the corruption starts.
Why should she lose her livelihood because of one speeding violation? That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever read. How does that make society a better place?
I live in a state where a judge was arrested for oui while dressed as a woman - before it was socially acceptable. He didn't lose his job. No one cared. Handle the matter honestly and remorsefully. It's far more appropriate than begging for special treatment because of your position.
@@steveladner4346 so what's your excuse for working to destroy the planet you told me before you worked on an oil rig so what's your excuse you should be put in jail for helping to overheat the planet and kill people you need to go to jail.
It should be illegal to obstruct body-cameras. The cops said they saw visual clues of impairment during the test, they saw her drive recklessly, they smelled alcohol, and still let her go to go on and possibly kill someone in a DUI manslaughter accident. They used their "discretion".
They also said she passed the test. Do you think police officers should just be able to stop anyone and say I smell alcohol You're going to jail for a DWI obviously you do because you're dumb
What a disgrace! This is why i have no respect for law enforcement hey take care of there own. And they let her to drive after they knew she was intoxicated.
The officer need to be fire for not doing his job. She smells alcohol plus she was speeding and on the wrong side off the road. She didn't even get a ticket that wrong.
This is bs she is not above the law she needs to resign anyone else would be charged she was driving on the wrong side of the road .. there should be protest about this . She’s a drunk who thinks she’s above the law smh wow this is appalling.
@@John-f8e2y The cop who tested her said she knows she's been drinking. Now where's your proof that the cop who tested her didn't grade on a large curve and let her go after her "this will ruin my entire career" speech?
For what. You think you should go to jail if somebody walks by you and goes I smell alcohol there put that person in jail because they said she passed the field sobriety test You're clearly not very smart
@@aao449 have you ever heard of something called passing the car in front of you or avoiding an object in the road in front of you. There are many reasons while driving you can drive on the wrong side of the road. If you were smart enough the question you want to know is how long was she driving on the wrong side of the road was it for 5 or 10 ft or was it for 10 to 15 miles there's a difference dummy
If I walk up to you and say I smell alcohol should I be able to make a citizens arrest and wait for the police to get there and throw you in jail. The officer even admitted in the video you either have a whole bunch of perfume on or I smell alcohol so pick one
@@John-f8e2y Dude, would you stop simping? She was driving on the wrong side of the road. The female cop tested her and could smell booze and said she was intoxicated but just not heavily intoxicated. She should have gotten a breath test.
Sheriff's departments around the country are typically the most corrupt of all law enforcement divisions. My local Sheriff's department regularly hires the local police officers and fire fighters who were fire from their jobs. The standard is extremely low to be a Sheriff's deputy.
@@scottmichaels12 I have that impression. Fortunately, in my area, the sheriff is well-regarded, and I've not heard of any abuse in the 4 years I've been here. But I've read of too many other sheriffs doing all sorts of bad.
She was driving down the wrong side of the road and he let her keep driving where ever she was going knowing she was a danger long before this whole incident occurred cause jackrabbit road is at least 5 miles away from spring cypress & 290; what part of that is serving and protecting!? You were trying to ruin someone’s life and you realized they could ruin yours before you did it. Period. At no point was he trying to protect anyone from the obvious danger that he apparently saw. 10/10; these people are impressing their will on us they are not serving OR protecting us!!!
Citizens are allowed to travel 10% above the speed limit that is posted by law in Texas so if the speed limit was 65 she's allowed to go at least 71 without a ticket. Learn the driving laws
@@John-f8e2y But they said she was clocked at 77, and why are you responding to everyone who notes the hypocrisy and double standards of this case? Are you the judge's representative? You seemed really pressed and determined to debate. God bless your heart.
I blew O on a breathalyzer test and they still arrested me. This judge was found to be drunk and she was let go with a warning? Everyone involved should be fired for corruption.
You obviously did not watch the video or at least you can't comprehend what you hear. She passed the field sobriety test. The cop in the video even said you either have a whole bunch of perfume on or I smell alcohol so please tell me which one was it maybe he was smelling the perfume and thought it was alcohol so he gave her a field sobriety test and she passed You're clearly not very smart you lack critical thinking
@@John-f8e2y Simp. If you had critical thinking skills, you'd realize that failing/passing a field sobriety test is at the discretion of the person administering the test. Since no cameras were working, we don't know how well or poorly she performed the tests. We do know she was driving on the wrong side of the road, though, lmao.
@user-ou5rs7wm8r The sFST is not a pass or fail, it designed to look for indicators. Since no record of the final outcome on the FST, we have no clue what happen. Now with that said, we do know what happen. It's simple, she use her power and influence to have the investigation tainted and so her a$$ can get off.
This is ridiculous. Anyone else would've been given a breathalyzer test or had their BAC tested in some other way. They just let her go. And people wonder why police officers aren't trusted.
"They can use discretion when issuing citations", which means they become judge & jury. I once received a speeding ticket for going 73 in a 65 zone, on I-25 in Wyoming, & only the trooper & I in sight, & he was on the other side of the median. When I asked why I was stopped when I told him other drivers were blowing off my doors my whole trip, he said "Well, that's just a little game that we play". I suspect my Texas license plate was one of the cards in that game.
@@John-f8e2y Yeah? You were speeding on the wrong side of the road and deemed to be under the influence by the cop who performed the field sobriety test and they just let you off with a warning for speeding? 🤣🤣
So she fails the test twice and she was allowed to continue you to drive. Why ? They said she didn't have that much in her system yet she failed their test several times. She wasn't even driving in her lane. What if she went down the road and killed someone. It should not matter that she was judge. She was breaking the law. Wow yeah they were wrong for letting continue to drive.
Right . Whites are so “ privileged” that they don’t have their own history month, congressional caucus , tv station, placed in colleges a head of others just because they are white. You a freaking 🤡

@@debbielighthall9671 hard to find help here when dealing with ppl like her! They refuse to help!! I have a Brady motion filed by the state that is being ignored by the state!! They do whatever to hide their hands
We all know if that was any of the rest of us, the general public, we would have been arrested and charged with DUI regardless of our BAC, I mean she was witnessed driving the wrong way!
It happened because you're ignorant self obviously does not know Texas law. In Texas you can travel 10% over the speed limit without getting a ticket. The judge was in a 65 zone she was going 77 10% over 65 is 71. So in fact she was only going six miles per hour over the speed limit legally learn the law
Another Judge, with a huge sense of entitlement. The arrogance of this woman. The fact she used her position to sway the officer's decision is crap. So tired of elected officials thinking rules and laws don't apply to them. So, when she's on the bench and has defendants who were arrested for drunk driving, will she sentence them appropriately?
How about a judicial commission complaint? She lied when she answered that she hadn't been drinking. She'd been drinking. Yes, judges are supposed to be BETTER THAN the average person. BEYOND REP|ROACH!
So if she wasn't drinking and the deputy is on audio saying multiple times that he can smell alcohol coming from her person, then shouldn't the deputy be fired for lying about a Judge driving drunk? Why isn't she mad at the deputy for harming her reputation? And someone please show me a video of an officer saying "I can smell alcohol on you" and the person isn't given any field tests, isn't asked to take a breathalyzer, and isn't taken straight to jail. You can't show me that video because it doesn't exist. This only happens if the suspect is a Judge or police officer.
