Well, it’s a fast lucrative way to make money. I personally know local Florida rappers who average 3 shows a week at $10,000 per show. About 8 months out of the year. For a 19 to 23 year old, that’s good money. Most so called rappers only see rap as an opportunity to make money in order to invest or start a business. More so a means to an end as opposed to ends to a means. For example, a local rapper who may never be heard of on a national stage can still make 10 to 30 thousand a month.
