Because the litigant is about to speak and she has to read something, so she first shushes them--which fucking sends me--then says her trademark, "Just a second." You'll notice how she occasionally mixes it up with "Just a minute" and "Just one second." 😹
I get so annoyed hearing her say that when my wife watches the show. I figured- someone else had to have noticed this! And sure enough, here’s the highlight reel lol😂
Just a second... I subbed for the music and now I get Judge Judy?!! For a moment I thought you were going to cover the intro then I remembered it was quite short. Just a second... I hope I can get that outta my head.
