I disagree. I believe a more accurate motto would be “guns for my 24/7 security detail that if you can’t afford. You don’t know how to handle money and should be taxed for you ignorance .”
Plus it says "arms" which is wider reaching. Biden if you're going to take on the government then you'll need a M1 tank or a F-15. If I had the money I'd buy one. Last year someone had 4 ex Turkish F-16s for sale in Florida. If I won the lottery I'd buy one. And there are private citizens and organizations that own tanks.
It's absolutely astounding that some of the same states that allow citizens to open carry or conceal carry without permits will not allow citizens to walk out in the streets with a sheathed sword or carry a knife that exceed the width of the user's hand or can be opened with one hand. In all 50 states brass knuckles and nunchucks are banned.
@@MildMisanthropeMaybeMassive Agreed- The second amendment is not referred exclusively to firearms, and what part of "shall not infringe" do they not understand?
Bee Tee Far more people have been unfairly criminalized, detained, and arrested for possession of “weapons” that aren’t guns. We should band together as well as get the enthusiasts and companies that make these tools to form another lobby.
Remember how before he ran for Pres, he was all "I'm not gonna apologise for stop and frisk, it wasn't racist; it was necessary. Then boom, he announces his candidacy and he's all "my bad, I shouldn't have done stop and frisk. I apologise".
Sha Lawz It’s disingenuous apology from Mike Bloomberg. He would do it again if he had to do it all over again. It’s like saying a c00n sorry! I got a job to do, OK stop and let me frisk you. No problem with that along with his gun control measures is that he’s infringing on peoples rights without due process. What a piece of $h*t.
He is it was a mistake he had no control over racist police officers.... Mikes stop and frisk reduced murder rates in NYC and it worked. It was just flawed by the dirty cops not by his plan because if you eliminate the dirty police his plan did work and he did apologize on behalf of the dirty cops.

Clint Smith said: "I carry a gun cause a cop is too heavy" I've watch the Texas Church shooting videos a number of times and I say this from the time the man pulled the shotgun and fired on the first defender was 3 seconds from that shot till he was shot and killed was an additional 6 seconds. That's a total of nine seconds for a deadly threat to be identified and then eliminated. 9 SECONDS!!! I want you too imagine how long it takes to get your phone out dial 911 and then try to explain to someone the when where and what. Unless you can get police response times down to about 8 seconds I think I'll keep my carry gun. Those guys in Texas are warriors. I rather have a shootout then a massacre.
I agree with you 100% the right people carrying can save so many lives. Only thing I feel like we should do differently is have ammunition limits, better mental screenings, and the amount of guns you can own. Why does one person need so many guns and cases of ammo for home protection?
D Zh what is wrong with good people having as many guns and ammo as they want? Criminals certainly won’t follow gun laws. Gun laws only restrict law abiding citizens.
I think you are wrong, she seemed very ready for the question. She just trys too hard to break it down in non legal terms relating to past legal cases that alot of the general public cannot relate to.
@Black SONRISE I'm not agreeing nor am I disagreeing with your other statements, but we all know that innocent people have and still are in prison in every state. Given that, where did you find the info that thousands in NY were(are) imprisoned due to "Stop and Frisk" that were(are) innocent? I don't agree with Stop & Frisk at all and see it as a violation of the federal Terry Law.
@cat king ok, when they do it to white kids don't complain. After all its suburb thugs. Who are the ones who shoot up schools, churches, movie theatres, etc. If anyone needs stop and frisk it's these suburb thugs.
You must live a very sheltered and charmed life to think people never are arrested or go to jail without committing a crime. Also, learn how to spell "liar". Bigot.
Of course Me-again left out some important facts. The man who killed the shooter WAS law enforcement and owned a gun range. He wasn’t some random guy who bought his gun from a private sale and decided he was going to be Rambo. What happened just confirmed Bloomberg’s opinion
The alternative would be several shots fired center mass for someone not as accustomed to firearms. How far away was the suspect like 3 feet? Give me a break.
Every credible study has confirmed that the more guns there are in a society, the more shooting deaths there will be. Nothing these right wing idiots like Megatron say will change that fact. The amount of times the fabled "good guy with a gun" have actually thwarted any mass shooting is not even 1%!!! How can they still use that ridiculous argument?
Right! There’s ALWAYS exceptions, but Bloomberg is right. No politician should be encouraging citizens to take the law into their own hands even though that man was able to save many..what if he wasn’t good at handling it.
mykel1990 imagine if that person had missed his target and shot 2 innocent congregants? We would be having a different conversation. Shooting in a crowd does a lot of things to people in that crowd whether they survive or not.

Samuel Blackwell has hasn’t said or done anything racist his ultimate goal was to eliminate murder and crime on the streets of NYC and he achieved it with stop and frisk. There is no reason to blame him on the violence against people of color like I said in my other comment it was the dirty police men and women who are to be blamed for for taking advantage of the law in which he passed. But no where on his law stated to target or implied to target people of color!
Stop making excuses for him,he did not want to give the CP5 their money,he still try to say they got a fair trial. They were victims of a crooked court system.
Meghan’s views would be stronger if she articulated them without talking over people with that annoying screeching toddler voice or if she made a larger point than “My father was John McCain.” We know! You never let us forget.
What are you talking about? Meghan didn't speak over anyone in this segment nor did she remind anyone her father was John McCain. It seems you are a bit envious of her life. "Gun control with limitations", in other words, if you're a card carrying member of the aristocracy, you may carry a gun. On the other hand, the peasants must be controlled.
I see it as you can carry a gun for self defense, hunting, etc. but there also needs to be laws to stop things like Parkland and Uvalde from happening again

Friedrich Schmidt when you age, and become older you sometimes need a little more time to speak! Also with age, you know to think before you speak as well
Raj Aaron you have to She knows what she is doing you have to be careful what you say because one word or phrase or sentence can turn everything you said the wrong way you can have a whole speech and just one word people will forget the whole speech
Anthony Brown we understand that but she’s judge Judy she never thinks hard when she responds that’s why it’s so weird to see. Judge Judy is known for being snappy and witty not hesitant let’s be real here!
Raj Aaron that’s correct But there’s a difference when she is in her own element doing what she does and is asked to speak on someone else as she always says she isn’t a mind reader so her answers have to be calculated so that regardless of what he does she doesn’t look like she is staying one sided
Anthony Brown exactly that’s why it’s cringy to watch thanks for proving my point she should stay in her lane.. her transition is messy and she might actually end up hurting him instead of helping due to what she’s known for.
When it comes to repairs to cars, homes etc. JJ is absolutely clueless and makes ridiculous decisions. She rushes people through the legal process out of ignorance not substance. She judges people as an fashion and like most legal scholars she's out of touch with working people. She's the last person I would take advice from as far as who should be President. What a joke!
I agree that people have the right to bare arms but not everyone should. Responsible owners have the sense to get the training and know how to keep the firearms safely.
Wasn't the first time. Steven Wilford ring any bells? How are law abiding people supposed to stop said mass shooting when it is federally prohibited to possess a firearm where mass shootings overwhelmingly occur?
That man was in law enforcement and owned a gun range, that wasn’t an average gun owner. Meghan again loves to leave out the details that make her argument flawed.
@@elizamaaguilar6656 How are you supposed to be "an average person" and stop a mass shooting when overwhelmingly it ISN'T legal to possess a firearm in areas where mass shootings happen? Obviously you have to make it legal to carry in order to have any sort of fair play in this argument.
@Dan Wruck Yes, and EVERYONE seems to be leaving out the fact that she was answering FOR someone else, specifically, what Bloomberg's stance was on an issue. When you answer for someone else, especially a politically-based figure, you must do so very carefully. I'm really surprised no one has stated that in any of the comment threads pertaining to how she responded!
I understand people giving Bloomberg criticism for the stop-and-frisk, and we should, but we should also give criticism to the prejudice in law enforcement. While Bloomberg was responsible for the program, he was not the one going out and stopping people for no reason and targeting certain groups. Sometimes programs and laws are made worse (worse than they already are) by the process.
Get Social ... I agree with your reasoning. But stop and frisk abuse went on for many years. Bloomberg could have spoken up many years ago. But so should many other people with influence. This policy was a US atrocity that continued for years and impacted on thousands and thousands of families.
@@denyze2263 I agree with you. He deserves all the criticism he gets, and I do not think he should get anywhere near the president seat. The worse part is that he did not do anything about the problem. Even if he thought stop-and-frisk was a good idea, the fact that he did not try to do anything about police prejudice says a lot. If he tries to say he did not realize how problematic it was, then he only shows how ignorant and out of touch he was with his own area he was supposed to be over. Someone like that should not be president. I just feel we should also get to the root cause of why stop-and-frisk was so bad. It was the prejudice involved. Even without stop-and-frisk, police prejudice is a problem. I imagine in a less bias society, stop-and-frisk would not be as harmful. Not to say it is good, but it would not be as terrible.
Get Social ... Thank you Get Social. I agree ingrained prejudice and the white’s sense of superiority and their fear of people who have black or brown skin is at the root of most problems in with US justice, immigration, poverty, and pay inequality.
And January 2019, he stated he was not aware of any complaints regarding stop and frisk. Although his administration was protested for years! I for one, would never vote for him. I don’t care if it guarantees trumps reelection or not
The majority of Americans don't want to take away all guns. Although there needs to be some common sense gun regulations put in place to keep people safe. This idea of arming school teachers and making more guns available so a 'good person' is on hand to take on a shooter is ridiculous.
So her view of the 2nd amendment is that citizens are allowed to own muskets if they can get permission from the government. After paying the fees of course. I'm not sure I read the same bill of rights that she supposedly did.
When you reach a certain tax bracket you lose touch with reality. You start seeing the world through the eyes of a millionaire. In Bloomberg case he looks at the world from a billionaire point of view. I could never support another elite politician. Yes Bernie Sanders is a millionaire but he’s the only candidate who has a history of fighting for the poor and middle class. His policies are the only policies that will benefit people like me
Lyndon Johnson incentivized the single parent household phenomenon for blacks in inner cities. Social welfare is the root of black problems not anybody's solution. It just gives reason to collect and not make something of yourself. It is buying votes and just massaging black chipped shoulders.
1911GreaterThanALL welfare isn’t the root of black issues. There’s more white people on welfare than black people. Equal footing is the root of black problems. Every race got a piece of the pie while black people were left to find our own way while the USA was being built on our backs for free labor. This country owes a huge debt to black people that will never be fairly paid.
Big Rush, welfare may not be the root of black issues....but what welfare programs did was incentivized single mother homes. The father was replaced with welfare, food stamps, section 8, SSI, etc. Children suffer without a father in the home. I believe it’s 70 or 75% of AA kids are raised in single mother homes. Then it’s a vicious cycle....kids from single mother homes are more likely to drop out, be incarcerated, or have teen pregnancies....creating another generation of kids who have poor outcomes.
I have never understood that argument to be honest. People with 900000 are in touch with reality but as soon as they hit a million they are not in touch with reality? Thats really weird that people think that, your wealth doesn't determine if you are a good person or not.
Stop and Frisk was the most needed program to keep Black and Hispanic neighborhoods safe and protect the people. It was the best thing Bloomberg did as NYC Mayor. I will vote for him if he stops apologizing for it.
I believe Judy Judy is very intelligent and has been around for many more years than those who feel as if she doesn’t know what she is talking about. She does! She carefully answers any question that anyone will throw at her! She knew exactly what would come about this matter if she was to endorse Bloomberg. She is having her voice heard just as well as any other American in this country. So how about those who don’t support her learn to respect others. I’m with Judge Judy! Have a great day everyone!
1911GreaterThanALL the point is security normally carry weapons. It’s a part of their job to have one just like police officers, aren’t they civilians too?!?!?!🤔
She was being asked to answer questions regarding someone else's stance on a particular issue. When you answer FOR another person, especially one politically-based where your response can have detrimental repercussions, you MUST be very careful, even guarded, in your replies. Did you place that into your equation before making your comment?
Every single semi automatic firearm is capable of firing 100 rounds in 60 seconds. She openly admits all semi automatic firearms should be banned and confiscated. Phew!
Shockingly, it's possible to be both a Republican, and still be capable of independent intelligent thought. It's hard to believe, but it happens on very rare occasion.
"is he really sorry". This argument can be raised about ANYBODY. no matter how well you know a person, there's no way of knowing 100% that they're being genuine in their apology. Unless you're a mind-reader or something.
Free men do not need to ask permission. I am a law abiding American citizen without a criminal record, if I want to own a full auto AK47 that should be my decision as a free man and nobody’s business whatsoever. “I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery.”
I want a Predator drone, a Sherman Tank, and a Seawolf class submarine with nuclear capability for good measure. Are you saying the ONLY barrier between me and these weapons should be a potential criminal record, and whether or not I can afford to actually buy them? After all, buying weapons of war should be my decision as a free man, and nobody's business whatsoever, right? And as long as I can get an acquittal of any potential charges against me, or any convictions expunged, I'm good to go right?
Sam Rosenberg Keep treading on free men Mr. Rosenberg. Disempower people. Give the government even more power over us. Let’s put our security and our liberties in the hands of a corrupt corporate system.
@Exculpatory Shōgun Individual right unconnected to service in a militia. Conservative military sworn to uphold the Constitution. Police force already refusing to arrest those in supposed violation of gun control laws. And we have thd majority of firearms. Youre powerless.
NYC had a very high murder rate at the time. The police were already patrolling black and Hispanic neighborhoods where most of the murders were taking place. So how do you stop or slow down the murders? More education and job opportunities is one way, but it takes alot of time. More policing is another way to do it fast. Now I don't agree with the way Bloomberg handled the situation. But if you were the mayor and there was a high murder rate in black and Hispanic neighborhoods and blacks and Hispanics themselves demanded you do something about it, what would be your solution?
Well, it's not clear. Crime visibly reduced over the same period, but that was a continuance of a trend that's been ongoing since the 90s. Correlation is not necessarily causation. Crime has been reduced, but we don't have enough data to say definitively if it's because of "stop and frisk" or not
@LYRICXL You mean like the criminal in the attack on that Rabbi's house that occurred on the same day, where the criminal wasn't able to get a gun because he was in New York, and killed zero people?
"I personally don't think anybody in this country needs a gun that is capable of shooting a hundred rounds in 60 seconds" ~ Judge Judy 100 rounds in 60 seconds = 1.6 rounds per second that would encompass every firearm. Revolvers shoot that fast, bolt action rifles shoot that fast, pump action shot guns shoot that fast. The gun that she claims she had a permit for probably shoot that fast as well unless she was carrying a muzzle loading flintlock, or percussion cap pistol. This is why we have the bill of rights, not the bill of needs!
"100 rounds in 60 seconds" (100 RPM whatever you want to call it) is only 1.66 trigger pulls every second. That isn't very hard to pull off with any semi-auto rifle even with reloading (assuming recoil isn't a problem).
Did you watch the video? She said she believes in carrying licenses. Do her guards carry AK's??? She's against guns that can fire hundreds of rounds a minute. DINGBAT
That was the longest 5 minute speech that I ever heard. We don't need the semantics of the history. We need an answer. Jeez...I could only wonder how long it would take her to get through a regular conversation if this is what she sounds like after 5 minutes.
Exactly! All that and she still didn't say crap that would mean crap. She knows Trump is an idiot yet notice how she holds her tongue steering clear of saying anything bad about him. And there are many! Lying is one of them. In court the old witch wouldn't hold her tongue with anybody else standing there before her. She would cut em off at the knees and eat their hearts for lunch.

In Denmark, you first need to be an active member of a shooting club for two years, before you can even get to apply to own a handgun and then go through the background check.. Knowing that it's so hard to get a gun, makes me feel safe and I've only seen a gun carried by a policeman, let alone heard a gun shot in my 43 years in Copenhagen. I have a hard time understanding why many Americans would want even more guns to feel secure.. Can someone perhaps explain that to me? (I know crime rates are much much lower here though, but if laws changed and made it easier to get a gun, I would just get more anxious).
It is funny that not many Europeans simply think to ask they just assume they know everything. Very refreshing to see a question. The usual statement is "get more gun control." All we see is ineffective gun control. Our Supreme Court has ruled that the police are NOT liable for the security or safety of individuals. This means that they can be ordered to stand down and let you die without recourse and they cannot be sued or held accountable criminally or civilly in the vast majority of cases. The average response time for a call to service in the U.S. is about 25 minutes. In that length of time people are commonly attacked brutally, stolen from and left the scene of the crime. There is no justice as the repeat offender percentage for violent crime is better than 80% of criminal convictions. If you turn into a convicted criminal you stay a convicted criminal the overwhelming majority of the time and thus commit the same or similar crime over and over. The justice system doesn't do anything but prolong the issue. We must take matters into our own hands as that is the ONLY effective solution available. Plus it is how the country was founded and is the American identity. The whole reason the U.S. exists is because of gun confiscation and as a result the country fought of Great Britain at the Battle of Concord during the 1700s. People accept guns because ultimately allowing gun controls means that ability is no longer possible and tyranny is seen to be very likely as a result (Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Maduro, Pol pot, etc etc etc). People are perfectly willing to threaten and use violence against the state in order to prevent tyranny and so it makes little sense to grant increasing levels of control against the method of your rebellion. Let us assume they did slacken your gun controls. I don't think Europeans in general have the same rates of single parent households that are statistically linked to gang recruitment. There are several hundred thousand organized crime gangs operating in the U.S.. All of those gangs are involved in hardcore drugs like heroin, synthetic heroin, meth, pot, various opiates and opioids and our drug and gang specialized police units outnumber other countries police forces entirely. Gangs are frankly a serious fucking issue pardon the cussing but the better than 90% of our violent crime involve convicted criminals with gang affiliations. If you discounted gang violence you would effectively see roughly a 90% reduction in violent crime. Denmark is entirely different from the U.S. The majority of our gangs consist of minorities particularly consisting of African Americans - 13% of the population yet are linked to over 50% of the homicides compared to whites 76% of the population and under 50% of the homicides. I have been studying this a good bit because I got really sick and tired of not having any decent answers when confronted at a shooting range.

Excuse my English, and perhaps also my ignorance of American culture. 1sr paragraph sound awful and extremely inhumane, I had no idea that your government do not provide the trust and security that people need, it they aren't obliged to secure you and your safety.. I know that many rural places, it might take more time for police to get there, so these places it should perhaps be easier to obtain a licence.. But still, if less guns were around, the threat of a gun would be less likely.. The criminal system is a lot different here that in the US, we try to rehabilitate people and not punish them, just as we don't allow parent to punch or smack their children, as we see it at just teaching them that violence is an answer. You can google norwegian prison, and you will see how we try to deal with some of our criminals. Rehabilitation har worked much better for us. We have a fair share of gang violance here as well, but nothing like what you experience over there.. But what I think America is doing wrong is that if you treat a criminal like a criminal, they will act like a criminal. If you start treating them as a fellow human being, they would be more likely to change their ways. And here in Denmark, the majority of foreighers are middle eastern and statistics shows, that they do more crime than native danes.. Is this telling us that middle eastern peop
@@1911GreaterThanALL Can't say I agree with the statement "ultimately allowing gun controls means that ability is no longer possible and tyranny is seen to be very likely as a result". this idea that you have to carry a gun to protect yourself in the States is so weird to me! I feel so privileged to live in Europe where you call the authorities in case you have a problem. The US has more guns per capita and more mass shootings than any other country in the world - in fact 1/3 of all shootings around the world occur in the US! US cities are among the places with the highest homicide rates. I can walk through any park in the middle of the night here without feeling anxious.
You are not telling the truth. We have a major drug problem here as well as a high crime rate. Getting rid of guns didn't change much.
