I wish all women could figure that out. That "de-ratcheting tour" would be something I could look forward to. But I hope that Judge Lynn won't only be just "preaching to the choir" because the ones who know better- do better. And on another note, the "ratchet people" aren't equipped to receive any kind of direction that challenges them to conform to improving their own individual socioeconomic standards. They will attempt to destroy anyone who stands between them and their desires for instant gratification and their unearned sense of entitlement. So, it's almost senseless to subject yourself to scorning the scourge of the subterfuge in that stigmatized part of society. The ratchet people are like a swarm of grasshoppers who mocked the ants for working hard during the fruitful abundance of summertime- always storing up food for the winter. The grasshoppers play all summer long and starves to death when the fruitless season arrives. You can't turn a grasshopper into a ant. For the sake of the children and our collective future- it's worth a shot. But you still shouldn't go down in a bucket full of crabs to teach crabs how to get out of the bucket because it's just their nature to hold one another back.
