My husband and I are the same way! Today we watched a movie for work and when it was over he turned to me and said, “I don’t know if I had more fun watching the movie or watching you struggle mightily to make it make sense.” We love to read/hear stories of your marriage because it’s so similar to ours and we’re only 6 years in (and we want to make it to 30). And for my part, I feel profound relief, too, because I’m every bit as odd as you are, and in so many of the same ways. My husband is a tall drink of water drawn from a deep well, and his steadiness soothes my overclocked adrenal glands. I don’t know what he sees in me!
