Jurors were told to forget Woody’s testimony and if they can’t they could leave. Do you know what they did? They said, sure we will forget Woody’s drama on the witness stand under Glanville. Judge Whitaker has been trying to prevent a mistrial since she got here. I'm wondering whether she regrets it (very likely). We will have to see whether she gets so mad that she'll give in. At this point it's a mercy act for the State - their case is destroyed, although that's probably because they never had one.

Okay before the defense said some I was trying g to figure out who she was talking g about. She was talking about 2 different things. Being cool and picking someone up are 2 different things. She keep trying put her case together

The answer is, no. Whitaker might hold the court slightly differently than Granville. She might communicate differently - but she will always BE ON THE SIDE OF THE STATE, because as a Judge she is an OFFICER of the STATE. It is her job to maintain the rules of the courtroom - that both sides are practicing fairly and ethically, she will NOT BE granting a mistrial or recusing herself. There’s an understanding for the court to give the state as much leeway as is legally necessary to prosecute the case. Unfortunately, she also has to presume that the prosecution is acting in good faith and cannot grant dismissal or impeachment based conjecture about their intent. There’s just no way to prove it unless there’s additional documentation proving otherwise. The state is always going to favor and lean on the side of prosecution unless the defense can prove that the defense is actively and aggressively breaking protocol or has some sort of documented proof. Until that point, is the wide receiver arguing with the refs about the DB’s committing pass interference. Re: “Bickering…”

For the judge to say Love wasn’t purposeful in her conniving questioning garners a mistrial in itself. The judge should not be defending her and assuming she was not being malicious, we know what’s real. If the judge is this naive she needs a new profession.
