What was IG thinking? His wife was beautiful, lovely, and kind, and he chose to be with that horrible creature?

Ignacio deserves to spend the rest of his life alone. He went through the entire trial with a self-righteous look on his face as if he hadn't contributed to his wife's death. She was so out of his league it was mind boggling, and yet he had an affair with Shawa...such an extremely unattractive(in every sense of the word) psychopath, not to mention all the others. And notice he never shed a single tear over Heather. None of this changed him one bit.

Clear example why cheating on a spouse is never worth it.

The way he just blurted out "mommy's dead" to his 10yo daughter, speaks volumes to me. Doesn't sound like he has any empathy for his own child no less. He is guilty in his wife's murder too if you ask me.

Her best friend discussed ways she can kill without being caught? And she was in Law Enforcement? How is she not in jail?????

The husband is a typical narcissist sitting there enjoying that the focus and attention is on him and not shedding one tear for either his murdered wife or his daughter who had lost her mother in such a senseless and horrific way. So sad 😢 RIP Heather ❤️

The way Ignacio Garraus told his daughter "Mommy's dead!" tells me this man has very little true empathy. No one with any conscience would blurt that out to their child. To me, he's as culpable as Shawna Nelson. His "gun" was Shawna Nelson. Michelle Moore is a piece of work, too. Her face when she first took the stand is angry, resentful. You can feel that she's a spoiled and was about to put up a "fight" but that didn't happen. She had to face that she was the co-conspirator. At that point she comes on like a sad, poor me act. So Shawna didn't "wanna be in hell." Now she's in heaven: prison.

Shawna was such a narcissistic manipulative person who didn’t care about anyone but herself! I’m glad Justice was served in this case. 💯. So sad to hear that Heather’s only child daughter Victoria was killed in a car accident in 2015. ❤🙏🏽♥️ Mother and daughter together in heaven ❤❤

What makes this tragedy even worse... In 2015, the victim's daughter, Victoria died in a car crash at the age of only 17. So he lost his wife to murder and then their only child to a car crash seven years after this trial.

This man’s infidelity caused the death of his wife as well as the loss of children having both mothers. As well as another man loosing his wife. He basically walked away a free man and he probably only feels an inconvenience of being a single parent. No human is an island your sins affect all those around you.

These people are so disgusting. Ignacio is as awful as Shawna, and his actions put her health and safety in danger more than once. It’s shocking that these people worked in law enforcement, and conducted themselves in this way. I hope this case haunts them to their dying day.

This case proves the adage "ignorance is bliss" wrong. If Heather had been made aware of that her husband was cheating on her and had even fathered a child with his mistress, she might have left him and thus saved her life. Also maybe forgiving a cheating spouse isn't always the right thing. This woman felt untouchable - her husband forgave her and she figured the police would look the way too.

If you're a police officer and you can cheat on youre wife... that alone says alot about you as a person and clearly being a police officer is not a position for someone like that. At 39:50 when the prosecutor is talking about the victim being faithful until death do us part, Shawna smiles. I believe she is truly guilty.

This is so sad! There was another case in Florida years ago where a woman dressed up in a clown Halloween costume knocked on the door of her lover’s home and killed the wife!

Let me tell you something; the worst thing you can do in a family situation is to "stay together for the kids". It leads to nothing but problems and you are teaching your children that it's okay to stay in a relationship where you are unhappy. Whether or not they understand it at the time, you are forming the basis of what they model their relationships off of. It is imperative to leave if you are unhappy. Children pick up on those vibes. A broken home is a broken home, whether you're still living together or not. It's often times that staying together raises contention as well, leads to abuse that may not have been present before, or circumstances outside the marriage that you cannot control because someone decides to play doubles. Just leave, divorce and move on. It's not healthy for you, it's not healthy for the children. It may be hard, but it's the best decision.
