Good day, Atty! Another superB lesson! Thank you for giving true and informative lesson! Here are my insight for this lesson: Lesson 32 Kinds of Jurisdiction 1. Jurisdiction Over the Subject Matter •It is the power to hear, determine and decide the case based on its nature as determined by laws. Examples are : Sandigang Bayan has the jurisdiction over graft and corruption committed by public officers or employees 2. Jurisdiction Over the Offense It is the power to hear, determine and decide the case based on its imposable penalty. The court that has the jurisdiction over the offense of less serious physical injuries (less than 6 years of imprisonment) is the Municipal Trial Court (Municipal Trial Court) 3. Jurisdiction Over the Person of the Accused It is the power to hear, determine and decide the case when the person is brought to court either by virtue of arrest or by his voluntary submission. 4. Jurisdiction Over the Territory It is the power to hear, determine and decide the case when the act is committed or any of its essential elements occurred within its territory. Thank you and God bless!

Good day atty, thank you for today's LESSON : 23 1. Where is judicial power vested? 2. What are included in a judicial power? 3. What is the power of Congress over jurisdiction of courts? 4. What is the limitation of the power of Congress over jurisdiction of court? the judicial power shall be vested in one Supreme Court and in such lower courts as may be provided by law. The mission of the courts of justice is to resolve actual issues regarding legally demandable and enforceable rights, as well as to determine whether there has been a gross abuse of discretion resulting in a lack or excess of jurisdiction on the part of any branch or instrumentality. The Congress has the authority to define, prescribe, and apportion the jurisdiction of the various courts, but it may not deprive the Supreme Court of its jurisdiction over the cases listed in Section 5 of this Act. No law reforming the judiciary shall be passed if it jeopardizes the security of tenure of its members. In terms of Article III, Congress can give them all the authority the Constitution allows, none at all, or everything in between. Other constitutional limits, where they apply, limit that power, just as they do any other power of Congress.

Good day Atty., Thank you for another insightful video lecture today. After watching the video, I learned vital information constituting the judicial department. As mentioned in the video lecture, the supreme court was made by the constitution of the Philippines itself and not any other law. It is made and organized under section 1 of the 1987 constitution. Moreover, it was also elaborated the power of our judicial department has, as well as, the power of the congress over the jurisdiction of the court together with its limits. It was intricately discussed why congress has the power to define, prescribe, and apportion the jurisdiction of various courts, as well as, why the supreme court has jurisdiction over cases enumerated in section 5 of the Philippine constitution. It was a concise, fruitful, and productive discussion widening our knowledge about the power and roles that our judicial department has. Thus, after watching, it makes me curious and looking forward to more video lectures of yours. Thank you so much, and God bless. #AralMunaBagoWalwal #EACCaviteCriminology

Good day Atty! Today I learned many things along the line of judicial power, where the judicial power vested, what are the powers included in Judicial power, what is the power of Congress over the Jurisdiction courts and what is its limits. Under article 8. Judicial Department. Section 1. The judicial power vested in one supreme court and in such lower courts. And the supreme court is created by our one and only Saligang Batas or Constitution. The included Judicial power is the power to settle actual controvercies involving rights, to determine if there is a grave abuse of discretion or a power of a department of the government. And for the powers of the Congress over the jurisdiction is that congress has the power to define, prescribe and apportion the jurisdiction of various courts. And the limit of this power is that the congress cannoy deprived the Supreme Court of its jurisdiction over cases indicated in section 5. Thank Atty for this new knowledge that I attained. #AralmunaBagoWalwal #EACCaviteSchoolofCriminology

Great day Atty! Nowadays I learned numerous things along the line of legal control, where the legal control vested, what are the powers included in Legal control, what is the control of Congress over the Locale courts and what is its limits. Beneath article 8. Legal Office. Area 1. The legal control vested in one incomparable court and in such lower courts. And the incomparable court is made by our one and as it were Saligang Batas or Structure. The included Legal control is the control to settle genuine controvercies including rights, to decide in the event that there's a grave mishandle of caution or a control of a division of the government. And for the powers of the Congress over the ward is that congress has the control to characterize, endorse and allocate the ward of different courts. And the restrain of this control is that the congress cannoy denied the Preeminent Court of its purview over cases demonstrated in area 5. Thank Atty for this unused information that I attained. #AralmunaBagoWalwal #eaccaviteschoolofcriminology

Good Day Attorney our Justice Buddy! In this lesson I learned about judicial department where its power shall be vested in one supreme court and in such lower courts as maybe established by law. The judical power includes the duty of the court of justice to settle actual controversies involving the rights which are legally demandable and enforceable, and to determine whether or not there has been a grave abuse of discretion amounting to lack or excess of jurisdiction on the part of any branch or instrumentality of the Goverenment. Also in additional you discussed about the limit and power of congress (house of representatives and house of senates) over the jurisdictjon of courts. All court made by laws. Laws made by congress. Congress define, prescribe and apportion the jurisdiction of various court. But its limit is not to deprive the supreme court of its jurisdiction over.cases enumerated in section 5 hereof. The congress and supreme court are co-equal branch of government. Thank you Atty. For the very clear and concise examples for us to easily understand it.I have learned so much from you and I look forward to learning more. Thankyou Justice Buddy. #AralMunaBagoWalwal #EmilioAguinaldoCollegeCavite #SchoolOfCriminology
