Neil Adams has one of the best Tai Otoshis ever and literally wrote a book about it! Best tai otoshi I have seen on youtube. This is possibly the most mis-understood throw IMO.
Hi Rick! He is an 8th dan in Judo and an inspiration to us all. I think our coaches did a great job in making him come over to small and cozy Tübingen where I study. Cheers.
thank you for this video my tai otoshi has always been bad but i have been drilling non stop lately to make my worst throw my best throw. Thank you cause the breakdown helps alot!!!
I remember seeing Neil Adams fighting in the World Championships in Maastricht and in the British Open. Often players of his caliber don't make good teachers. But in this video I can see that he is an excellent teacher.
that was my problem exactly. my left arm (i do left stance) kept getting twisted backwards and getting stuck. thank you so much for this upload and thank you to the sensei Adams for the great teachings.
this helped soooo much. After doing tai otoshi my shoulder always feels like I pulled it. It's because my arm always gets left behind. not anymore though thanks to this video. Thank you so much.
Awesome video, thanks for sharing. There is an apparent hole online of quality examples of good tai otoshi technique, and who better to instruct this brilliant throw than the tai-otoshi expert himself!
My pleasure! I wouldn't remember my comment from two years ago either :) Besides this : how refreshing to get a youtube reply withing being called names or being insulted. Thanks.
A didática de sua explicação é ótima, mesmo não compreendendo a sua linguá deu para perceber vários detalhes da técnica antes passado despercebido. Grato
