For ceremonial purposes such as kata or seminars 6th to 8th dan are represented by a white and red belt and 9th and 10th by a red belt. Jigoro Kano usually trained in Hakama or a black belt he has no double whithe belt nor does he have a Dan because nobody in the world has the authority to graduate Kano in Judo.
