Judge Judy rips into defendant after his actions lead to the death of the planiff's dog. #JudyJustice #JudgeJudy I own Nothing. Clip Remains Property of Original Owners.
He knew full well that his dog had parvo, and was given specific instructions not to let his dog near any other dogs, and he uses the issue of, "I was homeless?!" He was homeless, yet he was able to pay the bill for his dog when they were in the animal hospital for parvo, but he couldn't spend a few nights away at a motel with his dog?! Is it just me, or does something not click? 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
@Patsy Spry, not only that, but those of us who have been watching Judge Judy for a long time know she is a long-time dog lover, and as such, would have even less tolerance for people like Cooper Currie, who claim to love dogs.
JJ is definitely not perfect and I’m sure there’s instances where she went slightly overboard, but she’s awesome. Always makes sure it’s a fair case and listens to both people, and she especially doesn’t take shit from anybody lol. If I was on and she told me to stop speaking, that would be the greatest thing ever 😂
When i was 19 i got busted for writing hot checks, and the judge started yelling at me, so i "reciprocated". My word of advice- NEVER get mouthy with a judge! ...and show them plenty of respect too! 😐
I just like Judge Judy, she is good and knows when one tries to get by, but oh no not with her. Her granddaughter is getting some good lesson from her grandmother! She is the Best of the Best..!
You do realize these court cases are modified (staged) for entertainment purposes. The cases are real, yes, but other dramatics are added. I definitely would act dumb or lie on tv for extra cash
Parvo is no small infection, we adopted our dog from a shelter they didn’t tell us he had kennel cough, but he woke up with pneumonia 2 days later and was hospitalized for 3 days. A few weeks after hospitalization he starts vomiting and back to the ER we go that time he was hospitalized for 7 days with parvovirus, the hospital then tells us that the first time he was admitted they had 2 parvovirus patients and he may have gotten it then. We were shocked that although there had been no face to face interaction he had still somehow been infected. Thankfully he made a full recovery and lived to be just short of 14 years old before passing.
In hospital infections are rare but possible if staff aren’t properly using PPE or cleaning kennels. We have to use nasty nasty chemicals for parvo wards. The only thing most hospitals stock that can touch it is concentrated bleach. I’ve had to soak an entire room in bleach for 12 hours before wiping it up in full surgical gear. It is nasty and not fun
@@alib3208 This new younger white male generation is getting more uppity and brazen these days has anyone else noticed this. The white male community is starting this nasty brazen crusade on society. I noticed it's going on a lot among these younger Gen Zs in social media and live streaming. This guy was in total contempt of court and Judge Judy set him straight.
When the defendant got caught, he’s trying to make up a story that he’s homeless to gain sympathy but JJ isn’t fooled because he was told NOT to bring his dogs around the puppies when he got the parvovirus but he did it anyway and refused to listen to his vets! It doesn’t matter what the plaintiff is supposed to be there or not, DO NOT BRING your dog with parvovirus around her puppies!
@@Mitsurilove_84 I'm far from ignorant!. I've worked in rescue for 40+ yrs and seen more than I care too. I agree many homeless do treat their animals well BUT that does not erase the fact that 1. They are homeless which means they are at risks. 2. Have NO/ZERO money for vet care. 3. Have no stability. These are facts! Disagree if you wish. All economic groups can and do, abuse and neglect, animals. But I have seen repeatedly the animals that suffer the most are those owned by people who cannot afford them.
@@Mitsurilove_84 where is study proving that? I would say most homeless people have dogs for 1, warmth and 2, sympathy from people who will give money because they feel sorry for the dog. I'm not saying either is wrong, but don't come out with a dumb statement that they take better care of their dogs than other people. 🙄
I'm sorry. I have HAD a dog with Parvo. She survived, but it was a miracle she did. You don't just miraculously heal from Parvo after just 3 days. And being lethargic is only ONE symptom of true parvo in a dog. If the dog really hard Parvo, it would be very lethargic; have loss of appetite; abdominal pain and bloating; fever or low body temperature (hypothermia); vomiting; and severe, often bloody, diarrhea and dehydration. Parvo is also highly contagious, so I'm sure this dog would have been in quarantine, had it really had Parvo. Its also a potentially fatal disease, given the severity of the symptoms, but IF he really took the dog to a vet, it would have had a better chance of surviving, if they had followed the vet's instructions. When my dog had it, she was extremely sick and on the brink of death. I was literally holding her in my arms all night, giving her water from my hand. And he wants to cop an attitude with Judge Judy and say that the plaintiff, whose dog he killed, because he was given SPECIFIC instructions NOT to allow his puppy around any other dogs, and he DID NOT follow those very simple instructions, and as a result, this woman's dog died a painful death. SHAME on him. He could still move into her house, and TELL HER "we need to keep our dogs separated. My dog is very sick." He could have kept his dog somewhere else until she had recovered. And according to the vet, she was NOT recovered when she was released from hospital.
@@coreyrichards5864 I got vaxed , booster, & still got Covid , !! No vaccine is 100% effective. Puppies should start getting shots that include Parvo, is a 7 in one shot, & should build immunity
Love Judge Judy! She doesn't take any crap from anyone, especially people that think they know everything and can do whatever they want, when they want. I'm gonna have to check this new show out 👍

I’m a veterinary nurse. My vet always says “Not all pet owners are idiots, but all idiots are pet owners.” I’m reminded of this at least once a week. VACCINATE YOUR PETS. GET INSURANCE. HAVE EMERGENCY SAVINGS. GO ON YEARLY HEALTH CHECKS. You are responsible for their health & wellbeing like a parent with a toddler.
@@Duskdog717 I was going to argue with you that your interpretation of that statement is incorrect, but looking at it and reading it again makes me have to agreed with you. “Not all pet owners are idiots.” Ok , true statement. “All idiots are pet owners.” Ok, only partially true. Not every single idiot has a pet. While there are pet owners who are idiots, there absolutely are non pet owners who are also idiots of the highest order.
Vets are OVER fuckin priced. You gouge the public, we want to do the right thing but the costs are USURIOUS, I have my pets vaccinated, as they are my life, but the charges are out of this world you people should be ashamed.
@@Duskdog717 Presumably a dog owner? Its just that cat owners tend to a have a thicker skin in my experience... Jokes aside, of course non-pet owners can be idiots, and can we breathe a sigh of relief that they don't.
Well, she can be very stubborn sometimes and have proven to not always be right. She tend to bully the person she doesn't like, whether that person wins the case or not.
@@Zerg435 I agree. Once JJ thinks that she's right then there's no reasoning with her. And she gets rude, obnoxious and bully-ish. I actually like it when defendants have the nerve to talk back against her when she's wrong.
Not only is Parvo HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS but it also sticks in an environment for a long time. Even if she wasn’t actively there when he was, bringing his dog to another dogs home space was just as dangerous. Parvo cases need to stick to a minimal area, people need to be super strict on cleanliness, and it is highly advised not to bring any dogs, especially pups, to the area for over a year. Edit: I say this as a Vet Nurse in training. We have just covered Parvo extensively in my diseases class.
JJ [to the defendant]: _"... I don't care if you were homeless, hapless, sad, snowflake, I don't care, it's irrelevant to me ..."_ Whoa she is savage but her opinions are usually correct. When JJ used the term 'snowflake', watch the two ladies either side of her closely. They tried hard not to laugh.
Well she’s right. It doesn’t matter what your situation is. If you choose to keep a pet (a luxury, not a right) then you should be held legally responsible for it. Same for homeless / addicts with children. If you aren’t in a position to care for yourself in the most basic ways, then you should not be allowed to keep dependents. If you need to be around dogs for emotional support, then go volunteer at a shelter or get a job at a dog daycare or cleaner.
@@mrs.h2725 So I guess that you have never had a pet, and if you had, then you have never loved them. A home is a basic need, but many homeless have pets and they love them as family. These pets are the only thing that helps them go survive the hard life, they have. And therefore they can't just give them up just like as thing, the pets are just as family. And you can't not compare it to go to an animal shelter as volunteer, because it is not their pet/family. It is just not the same. I would die for my dog, he helped me though my childhood, but he died of old age. It was one of the worst days of my life.
I never understood the point of adding extra people to the new series until just now when I heard her say “Sarah, do this for me please” about the phone call. She haaaaated getting up to call someone!!! Now she doesn’t have to and I love that
A Brazos County sheriff who stopped a car for speeding on Peach Creek Road south of College Station ended up arresting the driver and two passengers. The trio was accused of possessing eight bags of marijuana with a total weight of more than nine pounds, valued at approximately $35,000. The driver was identified as 20-year-old Pierson Cracraft of Boerne and the passengers as 25-year-old Cooper Currie of Bryan and 18-year-old Cole Hudgins of Rockport. According to the arrest report, the sheriff also seized more than $4,100 in $20 and $100 bills, accompanied by a firearm. Currie and Hudgins were also charged with unlawful possession of a firearm. Online records also show that Currie is awaiting trial on a drunk driving charge with a prior conviction.
Your uploads have convinced me to start watching this show. I’ve been sticking to Judge Judy reruns but I think it’s time to include this in my viewing.
Judge J has the gift of reading ppl immediately after the first question she asks them.! And then she changes right away in to the Judge She is. She is blunt and calls it as she sees it.!
You were given specific instructions wise ass not bring your contagious dog around other animals. It was your responsibility to remove your dog from the premises if and when there were other animals present. There is no one to blame but yourself.
If there were more judges like judge Judy America would be a better Nation to live in. One of the things I've always loved about her is she won't abide either fools or liars. This judge is a Class act from A to z I've admired her and the way she runs her court for years.
This guy reminds me of my brother, sadly. Immature, a child in a grown man’s body. Something bad happens. No accountability, just blames anyone and everyone they can.
Defendant: ‘No you listen to me’ I’m like who’s the Judge here..🤦♀️🤦♀️ this guy is such an idiot he didn’t listen to the Vet when they gave him strict instructions 😑😑
There is a reason why he was homeless and its showing. People can't take care of theirselves, but they have a pet. Poor dog. Don't do drugs it warps your brain.
When someone talks about "white privilege" or "mansplaining" they are talking about guys like this who have been enabled to the point where he felt entitled to bring his sick dog near other dogs and thought he had the right to speak over Judy
Thats just a a-hole jerk. Stop pinning one white mans jerkish behavior on white people or men. I’ve watched JJ enough to know that a-holes and jerks have no race, or sex and when the a-hole is non-white/non-male no one says these racially/sex based condemning terms that demonize a whole group of people based on one persons actions….but when the a-hole/nasty person is white or a man, people start applying this fake/pseudo racism/sexism and its got to stop. It’s ridiculous.
Parvo is like the plague for dogs, we’ve had entire litters pass from it. It’s super serious and very difficult to handle. He is genuinely an idiot for this, it was so avoidable.
Having worked with the homeless / addicts in the medical field, he’s a pretty common character. Ppl like to pretend they’re all innocent victims of circumstance, which is true occasionally. But most often they’re narcissistic jerks who don’t play with others, feel too entitled to work basic jobs and have made a long series of selfish and bad decisions to lead them to that point.
Never lie or play with Judge Judy. She will find the truth. The defendant was talking to her as if he's in a chatty conversation, disrespectful of the court. I love how she tossed the other defendant like a useless case.
For somebody that claims to be an animal lover, to stupidly introduce your pooch to other animals when they're infected with highly contagious AND DEADLY is disease and playing that off as nothing big is nasty. Absolutely disgusting.
