great interview, so happy! I love swallow the sun, this album was a great strength for me in my meditation in my day to day life Juha Raivio my favorite guitarist especially in the solos of our eternal singer Aleah stanbridge ❤️👏🏻 trees of eternity also in my heart in my day to day life 🖤🔥❤️🤘🏻🎼🎼🤍✨🙌🏻😍🥰
Given if I had more time I would have loved to talk Trees of Eternity with him. Thank you for checking this out. I'm glad STS has impacted you similar to how they have impacted myself.
This interview made my day, thank you! These guys have been my favourite band since 2010 and Juha is one of my all time heroes. It's been a long (albeit very understandable) wait to see him give a video interview again. Very glad to see him out there talking about the new album, which I am so excited to hear. You brought up lots of great topics/questions from the fan perspective which made for a lovely conversation. Cheers!
Great interview and insight from both parties! The interview seems to have cut short because of the Zoom timing or something but no matter hahaha. I'm glad to see Juha doing interviews again and being excited for the band. May they shine on for years to come.
Thank you so much. Yes, I got cut off at the 40 minute mark. I also knew he had other stuff going on as he explained in the beginning, so I didn't want to force him to rejoin the meeting just to wrap things up. I still think it was a good note.
Whoa great conversation, cool that he's doing interviews again. It was very surreal to see him playing live the last time I saw them (2019 I think?)... on the tour opening for children of bodom. That was supporting When A Shadow... so it was crazy to see him playing such emotional music right in front of me.
Thank you for checking this out. This is what I strive to do with every interview, be it a band that's meant something to me for around 20 years like StS, or a band I just discovered. I haven't had the opportunity to see them live yet. Unfortunately next year will be similar as Minnesota is being skipped on this run, so I'm hoping on the next run it'll finally happen. I'm sure I'll be an emotional wreck.
