"This is iller than Black Thought, you know why? Cuz he always has a verse to spit/ The only difference between me and him...i didnt rehearse the shit!"
I think it's because all he cared about was rhymes/freestyles. not the accolades or the fame. He doesn't need anyone else to tell him he's on top because he already know
Lets not forget about how he pulled EVERYONE into the freestyle as a cohesive fluid experience.... Good to see juice doing his shit and the leadership in terms of getting everyone in that cohesive vibe..... Juice all day.
This man skill just made every musician in there put their soul into their music and did the hardest freestyle for 15 minutes. Underrated and underappreciated. This is great to see for raw hip hop.
THIS NIGGA BREATH FREESTYLE I LOVE IT WHEN HE SHOW RESPECT ON EMINEM BIG UP JUICE YOU THE REALEST. EM NEED TO FEATURE HIM FOR OLD TIME SAKE AND IT MUST BE A FREESTYLE NOT A TRACK BOTH OF THEM ARE SICK AND THEY HAVE IMPROVED SO MUCH AND PUT ROYCE IN IT.
Dude was drunk. Juice, when on point, is the sickest, by far. Best freestyler by far! Look it up youngsters. Dude was SICK. Probably still is. Chi-Town baby.
@@jacquelinemendez1416 why are you hating on juice so much? We aren't here to bash anyone, we know you like Eminem, I do too, but this freestyle was ill, you are making it seem like Eminem owns the industry, can be the only one to rap and touch a mic. Other people are allowed to rap too, he doesn't own the art form of it just cause he is one of the best lyricists of all time. Other people deserve a chance to prove there skills on the mic, and besides this is Eminem's radio station. If he didn't want juice there, he wouldn't have been invited to come on.
@@jacquelinemendez1416 I was just saying all that cause you are on so many different threads it made it seem like you were, sorry for the misunderstanding though
John Paul Wile why battle trash tho. He going for anyone with top knotch skill. I hear you tho, but in the end money is the only relevance sadly skill don't mean anything to this new generation radio audience.
Can we talk about the chemistry between Juice and the musicians. The way they just flow together. The piece with the solos and how he started rapping off that was just amazing. Perfect performance
What a freaking Legend man. That spontaneous thought process, when done right, is the most beautiful. Been listening to him for years and he’s getting better as he ages! 👍🏼👍🏼
He's my favorite underground emcee from the same city. Listen to his Albums One of my favorite is called TIP OF THE ICEBERG. when he Battled Eminem he won fare and square there was no bias crowd and it wasn't even in Detroit the Battle was in Cincinnati Ohio.
OMG!! How sick is JUICE for real!! Off the dome he is one of the best in the world!! He is a LEGEND. I'm a battle rapper out of Santa Fe, New Mexico I go by Emphatic/Emphatik. I've looked up to Juice for years. Keep doing your thing I want you to blow up and change the mainstream for real!!!!!!!$$$$
My God this dude is raw af!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥 Holy shit!!! I love when mf'ers can go bananas truly off top, no writing, no rehearsal, no nothing. Just flamin on the spot!! MC Juice is that dude!!! Very few can do it like this.. Special fkn talent!!! I fkn love this shit!!!
Man, Rev has to be one of the most underrated scratchers ever. He has such a unique style and he's never offbeat, bro had me stuck when I first heard Work the Angles. Of course Juice is a legend also.
@fuck all touts ftra fap 2020 I gotta hear Harry Mack battle. Juice and Supernatural are battle-tested. Who has Harry Mack beaten? Until he battles and defeats legends, I can't put him in the same class as a Juice, Supernatural, or Craig G.
This dude deserves so much more. The guy is a true artist. To not only have impeccable flow multiple syllable rhymes but have meaning and metaphors and call backs to previous rhymes all impromptu iS INSANE! Stop with the comparisons! Em isn't even in the discussion (not his avenue tbh) Supernat is dope gets me more hyped but not as complex. Juice is the greatest.
Pretty sure that wasn't a diss. He picked the illest lyricist in the game and said he's as good as him without writing. Just some freestyle rapper braggadocio
Terry FUCKING SHIT UP ALWAYS! grew up admiring this guy, good man, INSANITY in the artform, these 27 fools that down-voted LITERALLY are the trolls that are envious of this mans shine
@@LiferDogeyou trippin, Mack is nice but not on Juice level. Mack is nowhere near as clever or intricate as Juice. And Mack uses a lot of fillers. Juice uses none.
@@emilioortega8881 Yes, but Juice is one dimensional and on same cadence. After a while gets boring. H Mack takes it up to a next level. Fillers are structured words in his mind, no one is inventing anything just using what they have.
Yeah... so I've always been a Supernatural fan. He roasted Juice back on their head-to-head freestyle battle in '03/'04 but honestly, Juice has Got to be THE BEST off-the-top freestyler of ALL TIME and probably the foreseeable future. He AND SuperNat are the absolute pinnacle of Freestyle Rapping but Juice is extremely effortless, no filler and brings pure ad-libs. SuperNatural and Juice or Juice and SuperNatural... like if you agree.
Way back in the late 90's he did, he couldn't hold a candle to the prime Eminem today or the early to late 2000's, Eminem would cut this guy to shreds in his prime and he won that battle primarily due to his higher popularity before Eminem was even famous.
Juice is from Chicago, Em is from Detroit, The battle was in Detroit amongst Em's people. Detroit is gonna be rooting for their own and Juice beat Em with skills fair square. Didn't have shit to do with popularity. Why can't you just give the man his props?
Modern Em would rip Juice. To he fair Juice premeditated his lines whe he took Em out for beer. He was sneaky. Em was freestyling for real in tha battle.
naw, that sh!t would be wack - especially if EM showed up with some pre-written verse(s). And if they just went off the dome - Slim would be exposed for NOT really being a prolific freestyler like the unenlightened brainwashed have been fooled into thinking he is. I dont think EM could stand up to a one hour-long cypher. Cats would peep that he just spitting obviously written sh!t most of the time.
Em is a pop star now (I know its hard to understand with how much he pours into keeping his image still by signing street/underground rappers and shit), but he really is disconnected from the essence which is why he's so iffy on songs lately
Im not even in the radio station, havent even seen 1 second of the video an yet my heart is beating. Gotta mentally prepare myself. omg omg omg omg omg.
@@seandafny I'm feeling you Dafny- had 911 on speed dial - because you knew half way though his cypher you might experience some kind of cardiac arrest event- cause Juice's improv is likely to cause all kinda medical alert sh!t! That's what fentynol laced dope (rhyme) sh!t do!!!!
@@MostMorose Most people that heard it think Em beat Juice. But Juice was the reigning champion. Like the saying in boxing and MMA goes: "To be the champ, you gotta beat the champ." Because Juice was the sitting champ and was black(let's not pretend that a white boy back in 97' didn't suffer discrimination in Hip Hop), Em would have had to completely smoke him to win, which he didn't do. It was very close, and in very close battles, the reigning champ wins. Juice is an amazing battle rapper and a lot more expereinced than Em at that point. Because it was so close between the two, the reigning champ won. Even though I think Em won, I agree that Juice gave Em his only orfficial loss in a dissing battle.
Black thought prolly couldn’t write this. Juice would tear his ass UP. REAL freestyle and punchlines. MULTISYLLABLE off the dome ? That’s un heard of. It’s not a joke. Big l. Biggie and shit did that shit. This mans ABOVETHAT.
