Who is with me listening to this every green music in 2024! . This music with: sky line was the first music tape I bought in 1981 while growing up in Nigeria and was then in class one in Govt collage Umuahia,. I bought this tape in Oct 1st 1981 at Umuahia Township Market for #2.50 each, then played these music over and over. Felling nostalgic with pride as among the first music tape bought 😋😋.
Actually, this song did better on the Rock and Pop charts than Country. It hit #2 on the Billboard Top 100 and #2 on the Adult Contemporary chart, but only made it to #14 on the Country charts.
One of my earliest favorite songs. My folks had this on a 45 and would play it at partys they'd have. This song would always get played just for me. Even my 3 year old mind thought Juice had a lovely voice.
My Dad has been gone since 2007. This was his favorite Juice Newton song. Actually it is the only Juice Newton song that the even liked. I think the majority of the reason he liked it is the kind of outlaw western and poker theme! Plus it's a very upbeat tune. Now, in 2023, when it feels like the my whole world is crumbling all around me, I go to music to find a moment of peace and sanity. This song came up on some list that I had decided to click, had no idea it was going to play, and it instantly gave me a big smile and so many memories playing in my head right along with the song, thinking about my Dad. As I silently sing along, I can't help but smile, remember and feel happy while it plays.
@@imkillgod0095Thank you for that! That's a very neat thought you are doing. And actually, though I do think of my Dad everyday, earlier today in my mind I was really going over and over a couple particular memories of him. :)
my dad is still here but he lives 7 hours from me and I listen to this song because he likes it a lot and it reminds me of him. Daddy's are special. I'm so sorry. You can say you know someone who will have the same memory of their father.
Aw, that is nice to know, because no one would automatically think "Dad memories" for this song, so it's nice to know we're not alone in that! That is a quite a bit of a distance from you, but I hope you do get to see him though and/or at least talk to or message a lot. But doesn't help missing him when he's not there in person! They really are special. :) Thank you so much.
With its rockabilly arrangement, borrowed from David Edmunds' version, it sounded out of touch with the 80s back then, more like a 50-60s song in the style of the Everly Brothers. But it was a great radio song for sure!
@@knotwilg3596 I was in the early 90s, but I understand there was a new rockabilly wave in the late 70s, early 80s. I'm from Argentina and I know there was a new rockabilly scene in the 80s influenced by a rockabilly revival around that same time in the USA
@@knotwilg3596 I still thought it fit the 80s but i know what you mean, it has 60s touch to it. I think the song was written by Hank DeVito from New York for David Edmunds, but i prefer Newton's version.
Enjoy what makes you happy and damn the haters! If you enjoy it and it makes you happy ride that wave. No shame or guilt needed. 🤘🏽(unless it’s Nickleback - just kidding)
I fell in love with Juice Newton's energetic music in the 1980s, when I purchased a cassette in Australia. I listened to her a lot while in the USMC. I want to see her in concert. Over the years I've had many pitfalls, disappointments, as everyone does throughout life, and lost all of the music I once had. When I logged into RU-vid today, a suggestion to listen to Juice's song Queen of Hearts. This song immediately brought memories back to me; of the first time I bought a cassette, which had this very song on it. The first song I listened to was Angel of the Morning If there is anyone on G+ who knows her personnally, you are among some of the luckiest people on earth ☺
+aCurious Hippie this song was a favorite of my high school sweetheart, God keep her in his eternal hands as she passed away 1 year after graduation and every time I hear this song I think of her because SHE was MY "Queen of Hearts"
Must be some great memories. I was wondering if you could explain the true meaning of this song. I love this song. And I want to understand it in its entirety.
@@Lychee_Witch You are an idiot. He's not talking about when it got uploaded to RU-vid which didn't even exist 40 years ago, he's talking about when he first heard this song.
Just proves my point. If RU-vid didn't even exit 40 years ago how could he have listened to it because it wouldn't been able to be uploaded to a non-existent platform. Read a book.
This song came out when I was 9 years old ☺ Decades later, on this cold night, it just randomly popped in my head! So strange how memories just come out of nowhere. Love it!! ❤❤❤
Hello 👋 Ronda. How are you doing? Hope you are fine. I'm Mark Clifford and am from Denver Colorado, where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
I loved this song back in the 80’s. We were just married, having the time of our lives when this song came out. We ran to our favorite music store and bought the album. Still married to the same girl now 44 years, and yup, still have that Album
She was the Shania Twain of the early eighties. This song was a huge hit on both Top 40 and country stations. Two of her albums sold very well because they appealed to fans of both music genres. Shania had similar crossover appeal in the late nineties.
This is the song that convinced my son to learn the guitar. 12 string was the eventual goal just so he could make it sound like the strumming in between the words. He mastered that and much more .. all from this song. I played her cd in the car more than not. :) We love Juice!
Nothing like driving a semi with a gas tanker through sa ramming into everything while this played on the radio. Thanks gta for my taste in country now
Midnight And I'm a-waitin' On the twelve-0-five Hopin' it'll take me Just a little farther down the line Moonlight You're just a heartache in disguise Won't you keep my heart from breakin' If it's only for a very short time Playing with the queen of hearts Knowin' it ain't really smart The joker ain't the only fool Who'll do anything for you Laying out another lie Thinkin' 'bout a life of crime 'Cos that's what I'll have to do To keep me away from you Honey, you know it makes you mad Why is everybody tellin' everybody What you have done Baby, I know it makes you sad But when they're handin' out the heartaches You know you got to have you some Playing with the queen of hearts Knowin' it ain't really smart The joker ain't the only fool Who'll do anything for you Laying out another lie Thinkin' 'bout a life of crime 'Cos that's what I'll have to do To keep me away from you [Instrumental Interlude] Lovers, I know you've had a few But hide your heart beneath the covers And tell 'em they're the only one And others, they know just What I'm going through And it's a-hard to be a lover When you say you're only in it for fun Playing with the queen of hearts Knowing it ain't really smart The joker ain't the only fool Who'll do anything for you Playing with the queen of hearts And knowing it ain't really smart The joker ain't the only fool Who'll do anything for you And laying out another lie Thinkin' 'bout a life of crime 'Cos that's what I'll have to do To keep me away from you
Whoa! I have been looking for this song for 8 years. Drive-byes, running over the pedestrians with car, Dead cops, beaten up prostitutes, blown up vehicles....all while this song was playing in K-Rose. So much memories!!
This song was really good to relieve tension/stress after a long hard day. I really enjoyed the time merging into the freeway traffic with this tune. A great merging tune.
Evening ride in the car "EUROS" all over the places of Los santos , San fierro ,Las ventures ,With k-rose music is the vibe that real life journey can never give ❤ EDIT : Also she is looking like taylor shift
Hard to believe she was born and raised in New Jersey, but it just proves that no matter the place or time, passion is passion, and hers is country music. She's so lovely.
Jogo : GTA sandreas Veículo : Sanchez Rádio : K' Rose 🎙️📻🏍️🛣️❤️👏🏼 Muito obrigado GTA sandreas, por fazer parte de minha infância. E parabéns a cantora, Juice Newton ❤️👍🏼👏🏼🍃

Hello Jean 👋 Simple music can make you sing, a simple hug can make you feel, better, simple things can make you happy, I hope my simple hello will put a smile on your face..
it's still the same world. The only difference is the way the current people in it, see things. Now you have to be the one to make/create/defend what is beautiful and real and heartfelt. You can't just sit back and wait for it to come anymore. Instead of lamenting it. Enjoy it.. With greater responsibility comes greater Power. Dont get it twisted.
The only words I can say is "brilliant" I grew up with her music and she is by far the best at "angel of the morning" I love her. Thanks for this video.
