@@31TV_TX Hey man I really enjoy your reactions and I am a huge Juice fan. I’ve read a lot of the comments and decided I’d write my own. No hate or disrespect towards you or anyone who reads this in the future. Juice does reuse lines BUT they are not rehearsed in any way. He reuses lines that he remembers from the past, but everything else is off the top. It’s kinda hard to explain. He doesn’t write anything down before he comes into the studio or has the producers send him the beat so he can just flow on it. I get why you may think he has things rehearsed in his head but he really doesn’t. I’ve also never heard anyone else who could freestyle like him, and my playlist is a mix of a ton of rappers new and old. Harry Mack is the only one that’s kind of comparable. Again not trying to throw shade just trying to clear things up if you get what I mean. Keep killin it man!

This is true, I couldn’t freestyle for longer than a minute or 2 but I also think one thing people tend to forget or purposely mislead others with is 99% of released songs are *NOT* one take freestyles, they’re multiple takes/punch ins like majority of artists these days and the proof is in the pudding with the released sessions. That doesn’t take anything away from what he did and the gigantic catalogue he has, hell - he’s my favorite artist ever. But it’s a common misconception that he just off the top one taked every track

He had the same recording method as everyone else, although he does have some one take tracks that most punch in couldnt do which is impressive af. I don't think he's expecting there to not be any repeating - that comes with freestyles no matter who it is, I think his opinion comes from the frequency of recycles, and in this case I can agree. Like contrast it to his Fire in The Booth and there's a stark difference. That one is head over heels more impressive subject matter and creativity wise. But like you said he was just messing around here. You're going to try a little harder when going offf the top for a broadcasted program opposed to chilling with your boys

damn, you think this is his BEST freestyle?!? That's wild, even I can recognize some of his other ones are pretty great, this one was super mid to me. It's pretty interesting to see that 2 people can hear the exact same thing and get totally opposite feelings from it and opinions of it... the same way with food, movies, etc though so I'm not sure why we are always surprised, lol

If you havent heard overseer (omen), the song and freestlye then i recommend that to you, he did it on IG live which is cool too. i totally agree with you, it is interesting, not everyone will have the same reaction to it

Well, first, I enjoyed this video and I'm trying to be more open minded towards his freestyles since I finally figured out what makes me not like them (I've explained all this in multiple videos my guy). It's bc I come from an Era where "freestyling" meant something different and the artists today just don't do it the same. But I enjoyed this, said as much like 4 times in the video. But it wasn't mind blowing. It was mid. Second, and most importantly, and I've said this in MANY videos, I cover what my supporters ask me to cover. This was requested by multiple people. One of which was a Patreon member, and a cpl on my livestream I do every week. I cover what the people want me to, especiallywhen they are helping keep the channel going. Tbh, I don't understand what upset anyone about this video, I didn't say anything wrong, inaccurate, or mean about any of it and I said I enjoyed it quite a few times. Yall are just soft, 🙄. You don't like the content, don't watch it, but I'll never fake my feelings towards something, that's whack af. And this sounds more harsh than I mean it, bc it's through text, I definitely want you to be here and watch the videos but I won't get upset bc you choose not to. @@gtruman3969 exactly what I said, large portions of Juice Wrld's freestyles aren't off the top. He has a LOT of prearranged and/or rehearsed bars on a lot of his freestyles. And I'm not saying he's the only one, I'd say every artist, especially from the last 10 years or so, do the same thing. And I'm also not saying its bad or the bars are bad either, I like that stuff better than the actual off the top stuff. It's just not what I consider a freestyle. I've never said it was bad, people just get upset bc they disagree with something objective bc they are super obsessed with certain artists and believe they can or did do things that it's crazy to think they did. I do believe Juice got better at it all around over the years though and the bars he could come up with off the top got better, it would be silly to say otherwise. But c'mon, to believe every freestyle he spit was all off the top.... if you believe that then I'm not gonna try and convince you otherwise.

@SHOP31 well I think that sounds like personal opinion since not all beats are the same so the same bars just don't fit in. He rearranges his bars so they fit in with the beat so they sound good OFF TOP so this is a legitimate freestyle. His freestyles are always different, he almost never repeated a bar in the same freestyle unless it was on purpose. And maybe he uses the same words but with different tone, melody or flow. I think you should reconsider your opinion since this is off top no matter what.

Let me be VERY clear, lol, I didn't say the older stuff was better, just that it was actually freestyling. JW's are technically better I'd say, just don't think they should always be called freestyles. And some of his are awesome, people just want me to call them amazing when they're not. @@prod.samdavey1347 honestly, I don't think it will. Cell phones changed it all. Back in the day, you had nothing to look at and reference bars bf hopping in a battle or on a beat like they do now. And if anyone thinks these guys don't do that (including Juice Wrld), they're out of their mind. Half of the freestyles I hear from artists of this gen are mostly half rehearsed bars or more and you can tell. Back in the day, it almost no rehearsed bars. It was spontanious. You had a few key things you were good at of course, but it was a different art form than it is now. Of course that made the quality not as good as today's artists but it IS actually a freestyle. I'm trying to get over all that, it's just hard bc I'm not used to it so I just naturally don't look at it the same way. These people hating on me are just lames bro, they don't want to listen to what I'm saying. So fuck em, I don't care. It is what it is bro, lol. I tend to enjoy this one for the vibe as well, not so much the freestyle. For instance his Fire in The Booth freestyle tops this by a country mile. I think the variance in impressiveness comes from the platform he's on, when he was freestyling with his boys it tended to be repetitive (although fairly dope!) but when he was on a platform that's televized/broadcasted/promoted he came with more heat. Which makes sense. Keep doing you though bro you know what they say. Opinions are like assholes, everybody got one

Wasn't a fan at all of that one so I decided to not upload the video. Plus it was REALLY long. Maybe I'll do a livestream to it one day. I was much harder on freestyles when I heard that one than I am now.

@@31TV_TX I don’t want to assume anything, and let me know if I am, but do you not like freestyles in general because of their lack of formality? and lack of structure, because that’s typically why I don’t. but when I look at freestyles I try to ignore that factor and simply look for how they hit certain flows, cadences, patterns on the whim, I also look at their ability to construct intelligent bars on the fly, which I find juice can do really well, especially in his “Object Freestyle” I respect your opinion though, i’m simply just trying to understand where your head is at.

I'm starting to come around on his freestyles a little. I've been listening to a lot of them bc I like the crowd that comes around for the videos and I want to better understand the fascination with it. I don't think I'll ever feel how a lot of his super fans do, but I'm coming around.

Not using rehearsed or prearranged bars, coming 100% off the top. I know you're gonna say JW does that and I'm sure he did it over entire freestyles occasionally but most of his are not all off the top. It is usually pretty easy to hear the difference, most of his stans just don't want to hear it is all. When he goes from rehearsed to off the top, his entire flow changes. Think about that and go back to some of his freestyles you like a lot and I'd bet you would hear it. And I've never said anything was WRONG with it either, I just pointed it out and people cried about it.
