Me and you son are just alike, When I got two strand twist I loved to shake them around and I wanted the ones in the front all in my face so, I would say me and your son have a lot in common
I’ve actually done this style in both ,my brother (RIP),& my sisters and it is literally so easy to do but I never thought to use the setting mousse to make it set longer. Will definitely use that for my sister next time I do it. Thank you

*Pro tip* From personal experience I find jams to be dryer or stiffer when applied to dry hair. So I would use it on wet hair or use only on the ends. Maybe a pomade for the scalp and the hair would have more shake/movement. But nonetheless I love this style. My hair is actually twisted jus like that rn lol.
Is usually deep condition, then blow dry my hair. After that I do the parting and then I add Murrays Edgewax to the roots and then I use eco styler for the rest of the hair
Great video Jas. If you do not mind, when you do a video like this with your son please also include what he uses to look after his hair and what ya'll are basically doing to maintain the style. If you do not mind you can also include pictures of how his hair is looking two days or even before wash day. Again, Great video, looking forward to seeing more.

Young man looking fresh, just some advice you can share with him, and it’s on him if wants to or not. The advice is: Tell him to tell his Barber he wants a regular taper and not the bald taper. Bald taper generally looks better with haircuts/waves. Since he’s rocking with twists and braids eventually, having a regular taper shows off the hairstyle as a whole, with a crisp edge up and sideburns looking crisp with the double hairline in the front. I’m just speaking through experience with having twists/braids. Good work Mom Dukes.
I’ve literally been saying I have a shitty barber for when I grow my hair out and he’s only good when I have waves but you just educated me because when I get a haircut I always ask for bald taper, Thankyou bro I feel so bad lol

amazing video I picked up all the products you used and my twists came out better then previous times by a lot. 💜🙏🏼 do you ever use the products again like to maintain it throughout the week or just when twisting? like using the mousse before going out or styling the ends every now and then? sorry for the long reply.
Yay!!! I’m happy to hear that! We do use the products to retwist some of the twists. My son sleeps very rough and sweats so sometimes I have retwist the ones around the perimeter of his head. But we don’t really use the products unless a twist needs retwisting. Thank you for watching the video! I really appreciate it!
@@JasMcQueen do you let the hair breathe or does it not matter really? for example I leave my twists in for 3 weeks then go to my natural hair how long do I wait until re twisting? I want to rock the twists majority of the time don’t like my natural hair.
Hey! I honestly haven’t kept track of how often he “lets his hair breathe”. Twists are such a low manipulation (not tight) style that i think it would allow your hair to breathe! But then again, I’m not a hair stylist and everyone’s hair is different so maybe just figure out what works best for your hair!
This was so satisfying to watch omg! I can actually do this style on dom when his hair grows a little bit longer because I have most of these products🙌🏽 they turned out sooo good👏🏽
